It seems the gang of illiterates from Tigray, TPLF, has no real advisers. The Oromo protest has already engulfed the entire Oromia and still the thugs are trying to tell us all is well. The peaceful protest has done much damage to the economy and the empty pride of Agazi killers. The peaceful protest could easily transform to armed resurrection as there are millions of capable Oromo youth who are ready to sacrifice their life for the blessed goal of liberating Oromia from Tigrayan fascists. But the TPLF leaders still think they can contain the rebellion. I know TPLF is made of illiterates but have never thought hat they are so dumb to know the possible consequences of the Oromo uprising. The Oromo quest for freedom from suppression, repression and exploitation is not a question of blood relations! You need not be a pure Oromo to oppose blatant violation of human rights. You need not be Oromo to oppose the governmnet when it targets a certain group (be it ethnic, religious or political affiliation) it sees as an enemy and a potential danger to its total control on the political, economic and miltary spheres, and unleashes wanton killings, mass imprisonment and torture.
For the Oromo, the brutalization of the TPLF is not the first crimes perpetrated against them in the name of one Ethiopia. The current Oromo youth are the 4th generation of Oromos being harrassed and killed just for being oromo. They were not free from physical or psychological harrassment unless they deny their identity or hide it behind the veil of ethiopiawinett as you do now. The question is, Why is it impossible to keep one’s identity as Oromo (or somali, sidama, …) and be an Ethiopian by citizenship? To be a citizen of say Britain or Germany, you are not required to be british or german by blood. You have to pay allegiance to the democratic constitution of the respective country. You have to abide by the laws and regulations and respect the culture and norms of the country.
Well, in Ethiopia, not only that democracy is absent (except in the names of the country and almost all political parties), but also a plural thinking and tolerance to the right to have a different opinion than the prevailing one. Intolerance to differing opinion comes not only from the ruling elite. It is pervasive even on the ethiopian social media.
As an Oromo (100%), I do not believe in DNA. The Oromo do not believe on purity of blood. Had it not been so, they would have not developed and perfected the culture of “Guddifachaa”, “Moggaasaa”, and “Luba-baasa”. “Guddifachaa” is adopting a child with full right and duty of being a child to his parents; “Moggaasaa” is the integration of a non-Oromo family, clan or group and grafting onto the Oromo clan system following a thorough and solemn ritual and oath of allegiance to equality, fraternity and brotherhood; the integration is freely initiated by the non-oromo group. “Luba-baasa” is the integration of the adopted group into the Gada class system. That is how the Oromo became such a great homogeneous nation. The Oromo culture is based on freedom, equality and brotherhood long before the proponents of the french revolution marched under this motto.
The quest of the Oromo for freedom is not a blind desire for secesion but a quest for respect for their unabridged right to be free from any political and cultural oppression, and the right to determine their own fate. If that right – a true cultural, economic and political autonomy in the form of true federation – can not be respected within the bounds of Ethiopian, they uphold the right to build an independent Oromia. As far as I know, that is the principle the OLF is promoting – enable the Oromo and Oromians (including non-oromos living the true spirit of ijoollee Oromia) to freely voice what type of government and association with other nations and peoples in Ethiopia they want to have, in a referendum free of any form of pressure from any group. That is the true spirit of democracy.
In such Oromia, you won’t be harrassed for expressing your opinion, whether you are 100% or 0% Oromo. The principles of freedom, equality and fraternity will be the spirit of governance, a politics of grass-root democracy based on Gadaa culture. It may seem too ideal, but that is my dream for all those who would live in future Oromia, and if possible in the whole of Ethiopia.

The Perils of Ethnic Federalism
Part III: The Contrast with Canadian Federalism

Supporters of killil have attempted to convince the Ethiopian people that ethnic federalism is not only the right system of government for multi-ethnic Ethiopia but that it is also common throughout the world. Ethiopia is not alone, they declare; other countries, specifically India, Switzerland, and Canada, have well functioning ethnic federalisms, they contend. Nothing is farther from the truth.
The claim confuses ethnic federalism with democratic federalism, a failure to distinguish between appearance and substance, façade and content, the nominal and the real. The confusion probably arises from the fact that these countries have a multi-ethnic population and a federal system of government. Some commentators on federalism have also contributed to the confusion when they sometimes use the term “ethnic federalism” casually in describing the political systems in these countries.
The Uniqueness of Ethiopia’s Ethnic Federalism
The difference between ethnic federalism and the federal system of government that exists in these countries is immense. First, they have a democratic form of government, the essential condition for a functioning federalism. Without democracy, there can be no real division of powers between the central and local governments. Nor will there be any protection of individual and minority rights. Just as a fish cannot survive without water, federalism cannot exist without democracy. Federalism under authoritarian rule, for example as it existed in the former Soviet Union and former Yugoslavia, under the tight control of the communist party, is not genuine federalism. It is federalism in appearance and authoritarianism in substance, as many scholars have argued.
Second, when establishing their administrative units, none of the three countries used ethnicity to delineate or to name the divisions. India has more than 2000 ethnic groups, but only 29 states and seven territories. Switzerland has three main ethnic groups, German, French, and Italian, but 26 administrative units called cantons. Canada, home to three major groups, the English, the French, and the indigenous people, has 10 provinces and three territories. There are no Bantustan-like ethnic homelands, delineated along ethnic lines, named after ethnic groups, restricted to specific ethnic groups, in any of these countries. (The exception could be the reserves in Canada).
The Absurdity of Ethiopia’s Constitution
Constitutionally, among the community of nations, with or without democratic governance, with or without federalism, Ethiopia stands alone. It is the only country on earth that has bestowed sovereignty on ethnic groups, rather than on the people as a whole. Article 8 of the constitution states that, “All sovereign power resides in the nations, nationalities, and peoples of Ethiopia”.
I am not a constitutional expert, but to my understanding, the article states that supreme authority in Ethiopia resides with ethnic groups, not with the Ethiopian population as a polity. Article 8 suggests that any ethnic group in a killil, however small it maybe, can exercise its sovereign right and thus affect the economic, political, social, and legal trajectory of a zone, a killil, and even the rest of the country.
And then there is article 39. Article 39 (1) states, “Every nation, nationality and people in Ethiopia has an unconditional right to self-determination, including the right to secession”. The constitution details the steps, procedures, and conditions for the separation of the killils from Ethiopia. Here again, Ethiopia is the only country today that has enshrined an article in its constitution to bring about its own destruction. The countries that had included the right to secession in their constitutions in the past, the former Soviet Union and former Yugoslavia, had their wish fulfilled: they both disintegrated.
The constitution not only prescribes a suicide pill for disintegration, but inspires the elites of any ethnic group within an existing killil to strive for killilhood. Using the sovereign right to self-determination granted to ethnic groups in the constitution, the elites of an ethnic group without a killil can demand killilhood or special status in a killil zone so that they can access scarce resources and improve their political standing, as has happened with the Silti in SNNP and Kemant in Amhara regions, resulting in ethnic hostility and reginal instability.
These two constitutional provisions, the sovereignty of ethnic groups and their right to secession, the legal foundations of ethnic federalism, make Ethiopia an outlier. In using divisive ethnic politics, in adopting an aberrant constitution, in instituting a dividing ethnic federalism, Ethiopia stands solo, an outcast among all nations. However, collective rights of ethnic groups, including the right to self-determination without secession, can be protected constitutionally without bestowing sovereign powers on ethnic groups.
Ethnic Federalism Canada is not
When killil supporters cite Canada as a country with ethnic federalism, they are trying to soften, camouflage, conceal the danger it poses to national unity by associating it with a multi-ethnic, tolerant, stable, prosperous, and democratic country. The message: Ethiopia is in good company, no worries, but the reality is that the political system in Ethiopia differs sharply from Canada’s.
To underscore the contrast, I have summarized the major features of ethnic and Canadian federalism in the table below. The differences could not be any starker.

Confusion between Ethnicity and Linguistic Groups
I will not discuss the contents of the table in detail, but will highlight the glaring dissimilarities between ethnic and Canadian federalism. Killil supporters claim that Canada has ethnic federalism, mostly probably because the majority of French-speaking Canadians reside in Quebec and the majority of English-speaking Canadians live in the other provinces. Their assertion confuses, intentionally or unintentionally, ethnicity with linguistic groups.
Yes, the majority of the people living in Quebec are French speaking, but they come from diverse ethnic backgrounds, European (French and Belgian), North African, Haitian, Vietnamese, Cambodian, African, indigenous people, and others. And the majority of the people living in the other provinces are English speaking, again from diverse ethnic backgrounds, the English, Scottish, Welsh, Irish, German, Ukrainian, Indians, Jewish, Caribbean, indigenous people, other Europeans, and immigrants from all over the world. Hence, in Canada, broadly speaking, there are two major linguistic groups—English and French—but many ethnicities, and no ethnic group called Ontarians, Quebecers, Manitobans, British Columbians.
Protection of Individual Rights
Second, although the Ethiopian constitution bestows sovereign powers on ethnic groups, strangely it provides no protection of individual rights in the killils, but the Canadian Charter of Rights and the Canadian constitution protect both individual and minority rights across Canada, in all the provinces and territories. As a result, the English speaking community of Quebec, composed of different ethnic groups as stated earlier, although it only accounts for about 10% of Quebec’s population, enjoys the right to run its own institutions, schools, colleges, universities, hospitals, and municipalities in English.
Similarly, French-speaking Canadians, living in the rest of Canada, enjoy identical constitutionally guaranteed rights whenever their numbers warrant. Moreover, a French- speaking Canadian living in any of the English-speaking provinces has the right to be tried in French, and an English-speaking person residing in Quebec, in English. In civil cases, individuals have the right to speak either in French or in English before the courts anywhere in Canada. Do such rights exist under Ethiopia’s ethnic federalism?
Are the Amharic-speaking people living in Oromia entitled to their own schools, clinics, and municipalities in Ambo, Adama, Bishoftu, and other cities? Do they have the right to be tried in Amharic or can they speak in Amharic before the courts in civil cases? Do the Oromo people living in the Amhara or Somali region have such rights?
Third, in Canada residence, instead of ethnicity, defines an individual’s legal identity on all official documents and ID cards. A Quebecer is a Canadian citizen of any ethnicity who lives in Quebec. Although an immigrant, I am a Quebecker enjoying the same rights as a native-born Quebecois of French origin, including the right to run for a political office, even the right to become the prime minister of Canada. (Whether I will be or not is a different matter!)
Killil supporters may object to the comparison presented above for being illegitimate, unfair, and unacceptable because of the obvious political divergences between Ethiopia and Canada. That is precisely my point. It is profoundly wrong to call Canadian federalism, ethnic federalism; nonetheless, ethnic federalism, I hope, will evolve into a federalism that resembles Canadian federalism one day, but until then they are as dissimilar as day and night.

ከብስራት ኢብሳ (ሆላንድ)
በዚህ ርዕስ ላይ እንድጽፍ ያነሳሳኝ ዋናው ምክንያት፣ አቶ ጆሃር መሃመድ “ኦሮሞ የኦሮሚያ ናት” ብሎ በቅርቡ ያወጣውን መጣጣፍ ተመልክቼ፣ እኔም የበኩሌን አስተያየት ሳቀርብ፣ የጆሃር አጀንዳ በትክክል ገብቷቸውና መንገዱ ይጠቅመናል ብለው አቅዋም የወሰዱትን ለማሳመን ሳይሆን፣ የግል አስተያየቴን ለአንባቢዎች ለማካፈል ነው፡፡
በኔ አስተያየት የዘር የፖለቲካ መሪዎች ብዙ ጊዜ እንደዚህ አይነት ከፋፋይና አጨቃጫቂ አጀንዳ ሆነ ብለው የሚመርጡት፣ ሳያውቁ ወይም ሳይገባቸው ቀርቶ ሳይሆን፣ በተለያየ ዕርከን ሊያስፈጽሙ የሚፈልጉትን “ግልጽና ህቡዕ” አጀንዳዎቻቸውን ለማራመድ ይጠቅማል ብለው ስለሚያምኑ ነ፡፡
ለተሳሳተ ጥያቄ ትክክለኛ መልስ አይገኝለትም፡፡ ምክንያቱም ጥያቂው የተዘጋጀው፣ መላሹ እንዲሳሳት እንጂ እንዲመልሰው ስላልሆነ፡፡ የጆሃርም ትንኮሳ(ፕሮቮኬሽን)፣ ሊያስከትል የሚችለውን እሰጥ እገባ ቀድሞ ስለሚያውቀው፣ ለዛ በሚመልሰው መልስ “ትርፉን” አስልቶ ስለሆነ፣ ባጭሩ በቀውስ ውስጥ የራሱን ሥራ እየፈጠረ፣ እኔ እያደርኩት እንዳለው፣ ብዙ ሰዎች ለጆሃር መልስ ይሰጣሉ፡፡ ጆሃርም የመልስ መልስ እየሰጠ እይታ ውስጥ ይቆያል ማለት ነው፡፡
ጆሃርም “ኦሮሚያ የኦሮሞዎች ናት” ብሎ ያልጨረሰው የሌሎችንም ባለቤትነት እረስቶት ወይም ሳያውቅ ቀርቶ ሳይሆን፣ ሆን ብሎ ማጨቃጨቂያ ክፍተት ለመፍጠር ነው፡፡ አለበለዚያ ቀና አመለካከት ቢኖር? ኢትዮጵያ የኦሮሞዎችም ናት ወይም ኦሮሚያ የኢትዮጵያውያን ናት ብሎ ሰፊ ሕዝብና ትልቅ ግዛታችን ሆኖ ያለውን እውነታ በጠቀሰ፡፡ በሱ አቀራረብ እንዲመለስለት መስማት የፈለገው፣ “ኦሮሚያ የሚባል ሀገር የለም” ተብሎ ተመልሶለት፣ በዛ የተለመደ ጉንጭ አልፋ ክርክርና እንዲጀመርና፣ ጆሃርም በዛ “የኦሮሞ ሕዝብ ሆይ! ማንነትህን ካዱህ! ሀገርህ ያንተ አይደለም አሉህ!”…ወዘተ እያለ ኦሮሞው ከሌላው ወገኑ ጋር ቆሞ፣ ባጠቃላይ ሀገራችን ላይ እየደረሰ ባለው፣ የፍትህ የዲሞክራሲና ኢ ሰባአዊ ድርጊት ላይ ላይ እንዳያተኩርና የሱን ዕቅድ እንዳያደበዝዝ ነው፡፡
ለኦሮሞ ሕዝብ ኢትዮጵያ በሙሉ ሀገሩ ናት፣ ለአማራውም ለደቡቡም ….ወዘተ፡፡ ከዚህ የተለየ አቅዋም “ይቺ ያንተ ናት፣ ያቺ የሌላ ናት” አካሄድ በግልጽ የሚያሳየው ሌላ ያልተደበቀ የኦሮሞን ሕዝብ ከሌሎች ወገኖቹ ጋር የሚያራርቅ ስልት ነው፡፡ በተለይም ጆሃር በድፍረት፣ “ለኦሮሞ ኬንያም ኢትዮጵያም አንድ ናቸው” ብሎ ሊያስቀምጥ የሞከረው ሌላ ተጨማሪ ትንኮሳ እየቀጠለ…፡፡
ጆሃርን ከጥቂት ዓመታት በፊት መጀመርያ የማውቀው የነበረው ላጠቃላይ ኢትዮጵያኖች በብሔራዊ አጀንዳ ዙርያ ይመለከተኛል ብሎ አብሮ “ተሰልፎ” ከዓለም ዓቀፍ የዜና ማሰራጫዎች እስከ ፌስ ቡክና ፓልቶክ ድረስ የክብር እንግዳ እየሆነ፣ ኢትዮጵያኖች ምክር ሲጠይቁት፣ እየወከሉ በየአደባባዩ ሲያስተዋውቁት ….ወዘተ ነበር፡፡ ባደባባይ ይነግረን የነበረው፣ ከኦሮሞ አባትና ከክርስቲያን አማራ እናት እንደተወለደና፣ ሁሉም ወገኑ ለሱ እኩል ወገኖቹ እንደሆኑ ነበር፡፡ በመሃሉ ስንት ጊዜ አቅጣጫ እንደቀያየረ በቂ መረጃ ባይኖረኝም፣ እስካሁን ድረስ ከማውቀው፣ በጆሃር ውስጥ ብዙ “ማንነቶች” ተንጸባርቀዋል፡፡ እውነተኛው ጆሃር የቱ እንደሆነ ማወቅ ብቸገርም፣ አንድ ነገር በእርግጠኛነት “ከሚያሳያቸው ማንነቶች” መረዳት የሚቻለው፣ ብዙ ለማይታወቁ አጀንዳዎቹ ጭምር ማስፈጸሚያ አድርጎ የመረጠውና እንደ “ጆከር” አሁን የሚጫወትበት “የኦሮሞ ብሔረተኝነትን” ነው፡፡
ከጽሁፉ እንደተረዳሁት፣ ኦሮሞ በሙሉ አንድ አይነት አቅዋም እንዳለው አድርጎ ሲገልጽ፣ “አክራሪ ኦሮሞ፣ ለዘብተኛ ኦሮሞ …ወዘተ” እየተባለ የሚሰጠውን አስተያየት “የኦሮሞን ሕዝብ ለመከፋፈል የሚጠቀሙበት፣ ጊዜ ያለፈበት ….ወዘተ” ብሎ ነው፡፡
ይህ አይነት አቀራረብ የኦሮሞ ሕዝብ ውስጥ አንድ ወጥ የሆነ አመለካከት ብቻ ነው ያለው ወደሚለው አደገኛ አቅጣጫ ይወስደዋል፡፡ አንድ ማኅበረሰብ የፋብሪካ ውጤት አይደለም፡፡ በውስጡ ሁሉም አይነት አቅዋሞች ሊንጸባረቁ እንደሚችሉ ማመን አቶ ጆሃርን ለሚያክል የፖለቲካ ሳይንቲስት ይጠፋዋል ብዬ አላምንም፡፡ ነገር ግን ምናልባት እንዲፈጸም የሚመኘው በውስጡ ተጽዕኖ እያሳደረበት መሬት ላይ ያለውን ሃቅ አደብዝዞበት ይሆን? ብዬ ከመጠየቅ አላልፍም፡፡
የኦሮሞም ሕዝብ እንደ አንድ ማኅበረ ሰብ በውስጣቸው ተፈጥሮያዊ የሆነ ጤናማ ልዩነት ይንጸባረቃል፡፡ በታሪክም ሆነ በዕድሜዬ እንደተረዳሁት፣ የኦሮሞ ሕዝብ በኢትዮጵያዊነቱ የሚኮራ፣ ከሌሎች ወገኖቹ ጋር ሆኖ ለሀገር ዳር ድንበር የተዋደቀ፣ ለአንድነታችን ዋጋ የከፈለ፣ ከሌሎች ማህበረሰቦች ጋር ተዋህዶና ተቀላቅሎ እየኖረ ያለ፣ ብዙ ስመ ጥር ሀገራቸውን የሚወዱ አርበኞች የወጡበት፣ ለሀገር ግንባታውም ከፍተኛ አስተዋጾ ያደረገ ማኅበረሰብ ነው፡፡ የራሱንም ሆነ የሌላውን ባህል ቋንቋና እምነት የሚያከብር ሀገሩንና ሥራ የሚወድ ሕዝብ ነው፡፡
በአንጻሩም በውስጡም፣ የባህል፣ የዕምነት፣ የአኗኗር ልዩነት እንዳለ ሳይረሳ፣ የጨቁኑት፣ ይሸጡትና ያስማሙት፣ ከጠላት ጋር ተሰልፈው የወጉት፣ ለጥቅም፣ ለሥልጣን ብለው የካዱት፣ በስሙ የሚነግዱ፣ የሚሸጡ የሚለውጡ ኦሮሞዎች ሁሉ የነበሩበትና ያለበት ትልቅ ማኅበረ ሰብ ነው፡፡
ሌላው የጆሃር አገላለጽ “በሕዝባዊ ንቅናቄ ውስጥ በቀጥታ በመሳተፍ ጉዳት የደረሰባቸውን ከልብ እንደግፋለን እያሉ ከንፈር በመምጠጥ በሌላ በኩል ደግሞ ታጋዮች አንግበው የተነሱትን መፈክር በመኮነን፣ ድጋፉም ሆነ ከፈር መጠጣው የውሸት እንደሆነ ያሳያል” ይለናል፡፡
ይሄ ጆሃርን አልተመቸኝም የሚለው አካሄድ፣ በግሌ የፖለቲካ ባሕላችን፣ “ከጥቁርና ነጭ የፖለቲካ አካሄድ” መቀየር መጀመሩ እንደሆነ የሚያሳይ ምልክት ስለሆነ፣ እንዲያውም ደስ ሊያሰኘን ነው የሚገባው፡፡
ታጋዮች በማይደግፉት የፖለቲካ አቅዋም ውስጥ ጭምር ኢ-ሰብዓዊ ድርጊትን ተቃወሙ ማለት፣ በምንጠላው ነገር ውስጥ በጎ ነገርን ማየት መቻል ስለሆነ፣ በበጎ ጎኑ ሊታይና እንዲያውም ሊበረታታ የሚገባ አዲስ የፖለቲካ ጅምር ነው፡፡
በሰሞኑ የኦሮሞ ኢትዮጵያውያን ወጣቶች በስፋት በመንቀሳቀስ እየጠየቁ ያለውን የመብትና የፖለቲካ ጥያቄ፣ ከኦነግና መሰል “ነጻ አውጭ” ድርጅቶች የሥራ ውጤት እንደሆነ ተደርጎ የሚቀርብ የታሪክ ሽሚያ ታይቷል፡፡ በመሠረቱ ኢትዮጵያዊ የኦሮሞ ወጣቶቹ እንዳደረጉት፣ መብት ካለ አግባብ ሲነጠቅ መከላከልም ሆነ መቃወም ትክክልም ተገቢም ነው፡፡ ነገር ግን “የነጻ አውጭ ድርጅቶች”፣ ሁኔታውን ተጠቅመው ሕዝብን ከፋፍሎ ወደ እርስ በእርስ ግጭት ሊወስድ ወደሚችል፣ ለጠባብ የፖለቲካ ዓላማ ሊጠቀሙበት ሲሞክሩና ሁኔታው ተመቻቸልን ብለው በወጣቶቹ ትከሻ ፕሮፓጋንዳውን ሲያጦዙት፣ ሀገራችን እንዳትበታተን የምንፈልግ ሰዎች ፈርተንና ቆም ብለን አስበን፣ ጉዳዩን ለጠባብ የፖለቲካ ፍጆታ ብቻ መጠቀሚያ ከማድረግ፣ ወደ ብሔራዊ ትግሉ ከፍ አድርጎ ለሁሉም ሊጠቅም በሚችል መልኩ፣ እንቅስቃሴውን አስፍቶ የጋራ ለማደርግ መሞከርና፣ ሲቃወሙ ለተጎዱት ወጣቶች ወገናዊነትን ማሳየት ትክክለኛ አቅዋም ነው፡፡
ትክክል የማይሆነው አንዳንዶች እንዳደረጉት፣ የጥያቄውን ይዘት ብቻ በመመዘን፣ ከነገሰባቸው የውስጥ ፍርሃት ወይም ጥላቻ ተነስተው ከኋላው የፖለቲካዊ ትርጉም ብቻ በማንጠልጠል፣ “ይበለው፣ የተሳሳተ ጥያቄ ስለጠየቀ” ብለው፣ ወተት እንደሰረቀች ድመት በወጣቶቹ ላይ የተፈጸመውንም በደል አላየንምና አልሰማንም ብለው ሲያደፍጡ ነው፡፡
የዘር ግድብ ሳይገድባቸው፣ የፖለቲካ ልዩነት ሳይከፋፍላቸው፣ ሥርዓቱ በመላ ሀገሪቱ ውስጥ እያደረሰ ያለውን ችግር እኩል ሊያሳይ የምችል ሚዛናዊ የሆነ መፈክር አዘጋጅተው አሉ የሚባሉትን ችግሮች በጋራ
ሲያሰሙ መውጣታቸው ያስመሰግናቸዋል እንጂ፣ የጆሃርን የፖለቲካ አቅዋም ብቻ ሙሉ ለሙሉ ስላላንጸባረቁ ሊወቀሱ ባልተገባ፡፡
ምናልባት ወጣቶቹ እንደጀመሩት፣ ትግሉን አፍኖ አቅጣጫ በማስቀየር፣ የፖለትካ ሞሳ ሰርቶ የሻንፒዮን ዋንጫ ለብቻ ለመውሰድ ከመሞከር ይልቅ፣ አጋጣሚውን በመጠቀም ተቻችሎ አብሮ መቆም የጀመረውን በማበረታታት፣ ጽንፍ የቆሙትን ወደመሃል ባማምጣት፣ ከፓርቲና ከተወሰነ ቡድን ጥቅም ፍላጎት ከፍ አድርጎ ወደ ሀገራዊ የረዥም ጊዜ ጥቅም፣ ትኩረት ቢሰጥ እንደ ጥሩ ጅምር ሆኖ፣ ብዙ ውጪ የቆሙትንም እንደሚስብ ምንም ጥርጥር የለውም፡፡
በመጨረሻ ሳልጠቅስ የማላልፈው፣ ከአቶ ጆሃርና ተመሳሳይ አቅዋም ካላቸው በተደጋጋሚ ያስደመጡንም ሆነ የአስነበቡን፣ “የኦሮሞ ወጣቶችን ለመብታቸው እንዲቆሙና እንዲታገሉ በረዥሙ ሰርተው የገነቡት ጥረት እንደሆነ ነው”፡፡ እኔ የማየው በሌላ መንገድ ነው፡፡ እነዚህ ወጣቶች በዜና ማሳራጫ አውታሮች እንዳየናቸው፣ ዕድሜያቸው ቢበዛ ከ15 እስከ 25 ዓመት ቢደርሱ ነው፡፡ አብዛኞቹ ወያኔ ስልጣን ከያዘ ቦኋላ የተወለዱ ናቸው፡፡ ይህ ማለት ቋንቋንና ዘርን…ወዘተ መሠረት ባደረገ “የፌዴራል”ሥርዓት ውስጥ፣ ከክልል እስከ ቀበሌ፣ በጎሳ ድርጅት ሃላፊዎችና ካድሬዎች፣ ስለ ክልላቸውና የወጡበት ማኅበረሰብ ብቻ እንዲያስቡ፣ በሬዲዮን፣ በቴሌቪዥን፣ በዕድር፣ በዕቁብ፣ በየስብሰባው፣ የኦሮሞ ክልል፣ የአማራ ክልል፣ የደቡብ ክልል…ወዘተ እየተባሉ ያደጉ ናቸው፡፡
እንደ እኛ በአንድነት ውስጥ የነበሩትን በጎ ነገሮች ለማየትም ሆነ ለመስማት አልታደሉም፡፡ ከፓርላማ እስከ ቀበሌ፣ በሚሊዮን የሚቆጠር ወጪ እየወጣ የአንድ ጎንዮሽ የሆነውንና ያልሆነውን፣ አሉታዊ የተጋነኑና የተፈበረኩ ታሪኮች ሲጠቀጠቅ ለኖረው ምስኪን ወጣት፣ አቶ ጆሃር የተወሰነ ውጤት ቢያዩ “እኛ ሰራነው” ብለው ሊኩራሩ አይገባም፡፡
የአንድነቱ ደጋፊ ይህንን አይነት ዕድል ቢያገኝ፣ ሃያ አምስት ዓመት አይደለም በግማሽ ዓመት ውስጥ ምን አይነት ሥራ ሊሠራ እንደሚችል ቢታይ፣ እነ አቶ ጆሃርን ሥራ ፈት አድርጎ ያስቀምጣቸው ነበር፡፡ ስለዚህ ይህንን አብሮ የኖረ ሕዝብ ለራሳችሁ ፍላጎት ብላችሁ ለመለያየት አትሞክሩ፡፡ ሕዝብ እንደሆን ተዋህዷል፣ ንጹህ የሚባል ዘር ያለው በሁሉም ማኅበረ ሰባችን ውስጥ ባሉ ዘረኞች ጭንቅላት ውስጥ እንጂ ያልተቀላቀለ የለም፡፡ በሁሉም ማኅበረሰብ ውስጥ ያሉ ጎጠኛ ልሂቆች ወደ ሕዝብ የሚገፉት እንጂ በሕዝብ ማሃል ችግር የለም፡፡ ደሞም ዘር አንመርጥም፣ በኢዮጵያዊነታችን ኦሮሞም፣ ጉራጌም፣ አማራም ….ወዘተ ሁሉንም ነን ማለት መብት ነው፡፡
ኦሮሞን ጨምሮ የሁሉም ወገናችን ችግር ይመለከተናል ብለው ጸንተው የቆሙ ሚሊዮኖች እንዳሉ አትዘንጉ፡፡ ቁጥራቸው እጅግ የበዛ ከዘር ፖለቲካ ጫጫታው ስለራቁና እንደ ጎጠኞች ጮክ ብለው ጆሮዋችንን ስላላደነቆሩት፣ የዘር ፖለቲካ ስለሚደግፉ ነው ብሎ ለማመን መሞከር እራስን ማታለል ነው፡፡ ከሰማንያ የሚበልጡ ብሔረሰቦች ባሉበት ሃገራችን ውስጥ፣ ሁላችንም ለየራሳችን የምንፈልገው አይነት ዕቅድ እያወጣን ሁሉም ይቀበለው ማለት አስቸጋሪ ነው፡፡
ስለዚህ ለሕዝባችን የሚበጀው ልዩነት ሳይሆን አንድነት ነው፡፡ በዘር በኃይማኖትና በፖለቲካ አቅዋም ተከፋፍሎ የቆመውን ምሁር፣ ሁሉም የራሱን አጀንዳ ብቻ ቢገፋ፣ ሁሉም ተሸናፊ እንደሚሆን አምነን፣በእውነት ስለ ሀገርና ሕዝብ ከሆነ ትግሉ፣ ትክክለኛ መንገዱን የሀገራችን ልሂቃን ይጠፋቸዋል ብዬ ለመምከር አልሞክርም፡፡
ኢትዮጵያ የኦሮሞዎች፣ ኦሮሞም የኢትዮጵያውያኖች ናት፡፡
ሀገራችንን ከአውቆ አጥፊ ይጠብቅልን፡፡
