የአብያተ ክርስቲያናቱ ቃጠሎ ዘገባ
ዌብ ሣይቶቹ ያካባቢውን ቤተ ክርስቲያን አባላት ጠቅሰው ጥቃቱን በመፍራት አራት ሺህ ክርስቲያኖች ቤት ንብረታቸውን ጥለው መሸሻቸውን፥ በትንሹ አንድ ሰው ደግሞ አሰንዳቦ ከተማ አጠገብ ተገድሏል ማለታቸውን ገልፀዋል።
የኢትዮጵያ መንግሥት ቃል አቀባይ አቶ ሺመልስ ከማል ድንገቱን አስመልክቶ ያላቸው ዝርዝር በጣም ውሱን ነው። ባለሥልጣኑ ከቪኦኤ ጋር በቴሌፎን ባደረጉት ቃለ ምልልስ ግን፥ ፖሊስ በርካታ ተጠርጣሪዎችን ይዞ ማሠሩን ተናግረዋል።
አቶ ሺመልስ በዚህ የቴሌፎን መግለጫቸው፥ ምን ያህል ተጠርጣሪዎች ተይዘው እንደታሠሩ፥ ወይም ስለቀረበባቸው ክስ ምንነት በዝርዝር አልገለፁም።
የክርስቲያን ዌብ ሣይቶቹ ሪፖርት ግን ቤተ-ፀሎቶቹን በማቃጠሉ ተግባር በሺሆች የሚቆጠሩ ሙስሊሞች ተባብረዋል ይላሉ።

This is disappointing to speak about the churches destroyed in Ethiopia with out mentioning the nine mosques burned down in Gurage zone. i do not mean that churches should be burned but I insisted VOA to make balanced approach in reporting. However, VOA never been a neutral and today no different characteristics is observed. Simple it serves the interest of the people who are hallucinating for generation in quagmire. VOA woke up things are changed and do not consider Muslim to cooperate with you to sabotage on the country.
In Ethiopia religion has also an ethnic dimension. For the most part Amharas and Tigreans make make the most part of Orthodox Christians. Oromos are mostly muslims. When we atlk of religious conflict we are also talking of ethnic conflict. The Amharas have seen how difficult it has been to organize themselves under the ethnic agenda to influece the Ethiopian poltics. Lately, they have organized under religion while at the same time attacking the muslims. One thing they have not known is that religious conflict is far more incendiary than what they are hoping for.
The conflict is not between Christians and Muslims; It is between fanatic Wahabi Muslims and Pent costae.
They both are treat to Ethiopian security and peace. If you watch their you tube preaching, you would realise worst is yet to come. The government should take swift action ASAP.
Why would any government allow external financing from Saudi Arabia and the West to build Mosques and Pent costae churches?
Ethiopia shouldn’t be a dumping ground for their cheap culture and religion.
