ከኢትዮጵያ የተለየችዋ “ኦሮሚያ” ? – ግርማ ካሳ
አንዳንድ የኦሮሞ አክራሪዎች “ኢትዮጵያዊ አይደለንም” ወይም በተለያዩ ምክንያቶች “ኢትዮጵያ መሆን አቁመናል” ይላሉ። “ኢትዮጵያዊነት” ምን ማለት ነው በሚለው ላይ የተለያዩ ትንተናዎች ልናደርግ እንችላለን። አንዳንዶች ኢትዮጵያዊነት ዜግነት ነው ይላሉ። ዜግነት ከሆነ ነዋሪነታቸው በዉጭ አገር የሆኑ፣ የሌሎች አገሮችን ዜግነትን የተቀበሉ ”ኢትዮጵያዊ” አይደሉም ማለት ነው። ኤርትራዉያን የራሳቸውን አገር ስለመሰረቱ ኢትዮጵያዊ አይደሉም ማለት ነው። ለምን በኢትዮጵያ ድርብ ዜግነት በሕግ ስለማይፈቀድ።
ለኔም ሆነ ለብዙዎች ግን “ኢትዮጵያዊነት” ከዜግነት በላይ ነው። አሜሪካን አገር የተወለዱ የኢትዮጵያዉያን ልጆች “Ethiopian American” ናቸው። በዜግነት አሜሪካዊ የሆኑ ኢትዮጵያውያን እንደማለት ነው። የኢትዮጵያዊነት ማንነት በዉስጣቸው አለ። ኢትዮጵያዊነት የማንነት መገለጫም ነው።
በዚህ ረገድ አንዳንዶች “ኢትዮጵያዊነት የኔ መገለጫ አይደለም ፣ ወይንም በኢትዮጵያዊነቴ መታወቅ አልፈለግም” የሚል አቋም ሲያንጸባርቁ ይሰማሉ። ያ ሙሉ መብታቸው ነው። ከፈለጉ “ከጁፒተር የመጣን ነን” ማለት ይችላሉ። እኛ ምን አገባን። “ኢትዮጵያዊ ናችሁ“ ብሎ ከነርሱም ጋር በመከራከርስ ለምን ጊዜ እናጠፋለን ? ሰው የፈለገውን የመሆን መብት አለው። ለፍቅር፣ ለሰለም ለወንድማማችነት ብለን ስንቀርባቸው እኮ፣ እነርሱ ንጉስ የሆኑ ይመስል፣ “ኢትዮጵያዊ ነን” ካሉ እኛን የሚጠቅሙ ይመስል፣ እንድንለማመጣቸው ይፈልጋሉ።
ከአንዳንድ “የኦሮሞ ብሄረተኖች ነን” ባዮች ጋር ያለኝ ችግር “ኢትዮጵያዊነትን አንፈለግም” በማለታቸው ላይ ሳይሆን፣ እኛ ኢትዮጵያዉያንን ነን የምንለዉን፣ የኢትዮጵያ ምድር ሆኖ፣ “የኢትዮጵያዉያን መሬት አይደለም፣ በዚያ መኖር አትችሉም፣ አቢሲኒያኖች ወረሩን …..” የመሳሰሉ አባባሎቻቸውን በመጠቀም፣ እነርሱ በዘረኝነት በሽታ የታመሙት ሳያንስ፣ በነርሱ የታመመ አስተሳሰብ ምንክያት ለዘመናት ተፋቅሮ የኖረ ህዝብ እንዲታመም ለማድረግ የሚሰሩት ጎጂ ሥራ ላይ ነው መው።
ሕወሃትና ኦነግ የፈጠሯት ኦሮሚያ የምትባል ክልል አለች። ኦሮሞዎች ለዘመናት ኖረውአል። ለዘመናት የቆየ ኩሩ ታሪክ አላቸው። ይች ኦሮሚይ የምትባለዋ ግን ትላንት የተፈጠረች ናት። ይች ክልል አዲስ አበባን፣ ናዝሬትን፣ ደብረ ዘይትን፣ ጂማ፣ ሻሸመኔን፣ ቡራዮን..የመሳሰሉትን ሁሉ ያካተተች ናት። በዚች ክልል ከሚኖረው ሕዝብ ወደ 40% የሚሆነው የሚኖረው በአዲስ አበባና አዲስ አበባ አካባቢ ባሉ የሸዋ ዞኖች ነው (አዳማ ልዩ ዞን፣ ቡራዮ ልዩ ዞን፣ አዳማ ከተማ፣ አዲስ አበባ፣ ምስራቅ ሸዋ ዞን፣ ሰሜን ሸዋ ዞን፣ ምራብ ሸዋ ዞን እና ደቡብ ምስራቅ ሸዋ ዞን) ። በዚያ ከግማሽ በላይ የሚሆነው ኦሮምኛ የማይናገር ነው። የኦሮሚያ የኢኮኖሚ 85% የተከማቸው በዚሁ በአዲስ አበባ አካባቢ ነው። በዚህ አካባቢ የሚኖሩም ግማሽ የሚሆኑት ኦሮምኛ ተናጋሪዎችም በኢትዮጵያ አንድነት ላይ የማያሻማ አቋም ያላቸው፣ ኩሩ ኢትዮጵያዉያን ናቸው። የነ አቡነ ጴጥሮስ ልጆች …..
ከዚህ በታች የምታዩዋቸው ፎቶዎች በኦሮሚያ ሜዲያ ኔትዎርክ ፕሮግራም ላይ እንደ ባክግራዉንድ የቀረቡ ናቸው። እንደምታዩት “ኦሮሚያ” የሚባል ካርታ ይታያል። እንደ አዲስ አበባ፣ ናዝሬት ያሉትን ሁሉ የጨመረ። ከኦሮሚያ በስተሰሜን የአማራ ክልል ሳይሆን ኢትዮጵያ ነው የሚለው። ከኦሮሚያ በስተደቡብ፣ ደቡብ ክልል ሳይሆን ኢትዮጵያ ነው የሚለው። ያ ማለት ኦሮሚያ ከኢትዮጵያ ዉጭ እንደሆነችተደርጎ ነው ካርታው የሚያሳየው።
ይህን ካርታ ሌላ ሰው ለጥፎት ባየው፣ አንድ ጫት እየቃመ መርቅኖ የሚቃዥ ሚኒሴቶ የሚኖር አክራሪ የለጠፈው ነው በሚል ንቄው ላልፈው እችል ነበር። ግን የኦሮሞ ሜዲያ ኔትዎርክ እንዲህ አይነት ካርታ መለጠፉ ግን፣ ይህ አመለካከት በኦሮሞ ልሂቃን፣ በተደራጀ መልኩ እየተሰራበትና ያንን ግብ ለማሳካትም ዉስጥ ዉስጡን ከፍተኛ ጥረት እየተደረገበት እንደሆን አመላካች ሳይሆን እንደማይቀር አስባለሁ።
በኦሮሚያ ህዝቡ መሰረታዊ የመብት፣ የእኩልነት፣ የዲሞክራሲ፣ የመሬት ባለቤትነትን ጥያቄ አንስቶ ዋጋ እየከፈለ ነው። ሆኖም የዚህን ህዝብ ትግል ያለምንም ጥርጥር እነዚህ አክራሪዎች ሃይጃክ አድርገዉታል።
አብዛኞቻችን በኦሮሞ ልሂቃን እና በተቀረው ኢትዮጵያዊ መካከል መግባባት ተፈጥሮ ሁሉንም ሊያስማማ የሚችል መፍትሄዎች ቀርበው፣ የበለጠ መቀራረብና መስማማት እንዲኖር መክረናል፣ ጽፈናል። አንዳንዶቻችን የመፍትሄ ሐሳቦችን አቅርበናል። ሆኖም አንድ የታዘብኩት ነገር ቢኖር፣ በኦሮሞ ልሂቃን ዘንድ ምንም አይነት አብሮ ለመስራት ፍላጎት እንደማይታይ ነው። ከጊዜ ወደ ጊዜ እያየን ያለነው ሲያከሩ ነው።
በማክረር ፣ በኢትዮጵያና በተቀረው ኢትዮጵያዊ ያላቸውን አመላከካት በጣም ጨለምተኛ በማድረግ የት ሊድርሱ እንደሚችሉ አይገባኝም። ያለችው አንድ ኢትዮጵያያ ናት። እነርሱ መሬታችን በሚሉት ምድር ሌሎችም ነዋሪዎች አሉ። የሌሎችም ምድር ነው። በርግጠኝነት የምነገራቸው ከሌላው ማህበረሰብ ጋር አብረው ካልስሩ የትም አይደርሱም። ሌላው ማህበረሰብ ኢትዮጵያዊ ወንድሞቻችን ናቸው በሚል እየታገሰ ነው እንጂ፣ እንደነርሱ ሌላውም በዘርና በጎጥ ሂሳብ ማሰብ ከጀመረ አስከፊ ሁኔታ ነው የሚፈጠረው።
ለሁላችንም ፍቅር፣ አንድት፣ መከባበር ያዋጣናል። ኢትዮጵያ ለሁላችንም ትበቃናለች። የዮናታን ተስፋዬን ረጋሳ አባባል ልዋስና “ሁሉም ለኢትዮጵያ ፣ ኢትዮጵያ ለሁሉም “ በሚል፣ ሁሉም፣ የዘር፣ የሃይማኖት፣ የጾታ፣ የእድሜ ልዩነት ሳይደረግ እኩል የሆኑባት፣ አንዲት ፣ ዲሞክራሲያዊት ኢትዮጵያን ብንገነባ ይሻለናል። ዘረኝነት፣ ጠባብነት በሽታ ነው። እግዜር ይፈዉሰን!!!

I want to make one thing perfectly clear to Girma and all Tigre/Woyane thugs:
The days when Oromos had to endure self-abnegation are over and shall never return. We have rejected the Itophiyawinnet that is the antithesis of being an Oromo and shall continue to do so as long as this antithetical relationship is maintained. The choice is yours and your likes’. You either accept us with our identity and other rights fully respected or you kiss goodbye to your much vaunted Itophiyawinnet and Ethiopian unity. Can you not see that there is something immoral in trying to build Ethiopian unity on graves of Oromos, Sidamas, Walayitas, Kambatas, Hadiyas, etc .? Why do you refuse to recognize that this aspiration is ultimately counterproductive? I only hope that this irrational, immoral and ultimately destructive aspiration would give way to a more sober and fair articulation of an Ethiopian identity that is as an amalgam of the identities of the various nations inhabiting its territorial space.

How oromos migrated to Wollo,
Raya oromos are the latest migrants in the history of oromo migration. They actually migrated from Arsi to northern Wollo right before the time of King Yohannes. They are the decendents of Kubi Aba Bona, … and Bona was the royal Oromo in Arsi. Bona asked the father of King Michael Ali of Wollo, formally “Mohamed Ali”, to give his people a land. Then later married to Minilik II daughter. Ali’s mother was an Oromo “jati” who was the daughter of Bona “Arsi” Oromo. That is how the Oromos migrated to Wollo.

You can not deny the historical fact. Menelik took control of the kingdom of Jimma by force, and Haile Sellasie annexed it. This is a recent history. You can double check with all historical documents to confirm and affirm this fact. All Ethiopianist historiography is based on such “ይባላል”, but none have brought up any plausible evidence. Most of such theories are based on the paper of Abba Bahrey of 1593, which stated “they came crossing THEIR river called GALANA”. Seen critically, it is THEIR river they crossed – i.e. both sides of the river was their country. Secondly, in oromiffa, Galana means just river. So which river? Third, Abba Bahrey was a Monk at ‘Gammo’ Mariam. Where is Gammo located? There are many places in North Shawa that contain the word ‘Gammo’. But your contemporary ‘historians’ equate it to Gamo Gofa, which is also a fallacy.
All in all, based on such meager documentation, your ‘historians’ add their own uncorroborated theories and fantasize that Oromo came from outside.
Habasha and the so called Ethiopianist historians leave out facts that negate their theory. Yikuna Amlak is said to have reinstated the Solomonic dynasty in 1270. But why do your ‘historians’ leave out that Yikuna Amlak’s mother was a slave of a person called “Azazh Caala – ጫላ”. Is that not an Oromo name. That was 300 years before the so called Oromo invasion/migration.
