በኦሮሚያ ክልላዊ መንግሥት በተፈጠረው ሕዝባዊ አመፅ ንብረታቸው የወደመባቸው የአገር ውስጥና የውጭ ባለሀብቶች፣ መንግሥት ካሳ እንዲከፍላቸው ለጠቅላይ ሚኒስትር ጽሕፈት ቤት አመለከቱ፡፡
ታማኝ የዜና ምንጮች ለሪፖርተር እንደገለጹት፣ በተለያዩ የኦሮሚያ ከተሞች ንብረታቸው የወደመባቸው 14 የአገር ውስጥና የውጭ ኩባንያዎች የደረሰባቸውን ጉዳት በመዘርዘር መንግሥት ተገቢውን ካሳ እንዲከፍላቸው ጥያቄያቸውን ለጠቅላይ ሚኒስትር ጽሕፈት ቤት በጽሑፍ አቅርበዋል፡፡ የቀረቡትን የካሳ ጥያቄዎች በአንክሮ የተመለከተው የጠቅላይ ሚኒስትር ጽሕፈት ቤት፣ ጉዳዩን ወደ ኢንቨስትመንት ኮሚሽን መምራቱን ምንጮች ተናግረዋል፡፡
የጠቅላይ ሚኒስትር ጽሕፈት ቤት ባለሀብቶቹ ያቀረቡዋቸውን የካሳ ክፍያ ጥያቄዎች፣ የኢንቨስትመንት ኮሚሽን እንዲገመግም ማዘዙን ምንጮች ተናግረዋል፡፡ የኢንቨስትመንት ኮሚሽን ከአበዳሪ ባንኮችና ከኢንሹራንስ ኩባንያዎች ጋር ተባብሮ የቀረቡትን የካሳ ጥያቄዎች እንዲመረምር መመርያ ተላልፎለታል፡፡
የኢንቨስትመንት ኮሚሽን ከኢትዮጵያ ንግድ ባንክ፣ ከኢትዮጵያ ልማት ባንክና ከኢትዮጵያ መድን ድርጅት ጋር ተባብሮ በመሥራት ላይ መሆኑን ለማወቅ ተችሏል፡፡ መንግሥት የቀረበውን የካሳ ጥያቄ ለማስተናገድ ፈቃደኝነት እንዳለው የገለጹት ምንጮች፣ በባለሀብቶቹ የቀረበው የንብረት ግምት የተጋነነ እንዳይሆን የማረጋገጥ ኃላፊነት እንዳለበት አስረድተዋል፡፡
በኢንቨስትመንት ኮሚሽን የሚገኙ አንድ ከፍተኛ የሥራ ኃላፊ ለሪፖርተር እንደገለጹት፣ የኮሚሽኑ ከፍተኛ አመራር የካሳ ጥያቄ ማመልከቻዎችን በጥንቃቄ በመገምገም ላይ ነው፡፡ ‹‹ጉዳዩ ከፍተኛ ጥንቃቄ የሚጠይቅ አገራዊ ጉዳይ በመሆኑ በቦርድ ደረጃ የተያዘ ነው፤›› ብለዋል ኃላፊው፡፡
የኢትዮጵያ ኢንቨስትመንት ኮሚሽን ከኢትዮጵያ መድን ድርጅት ጋር ተባብሮ በመሥራት ላይ እንደሆነ ተገልጿል፡፡ ኩባንያዎቹ ያቀረቡትን የንብረት ግምት መጠን በማጤን የመድን ሽፋን ያላቸውንና የሌላቸውን እንዲለዩ የኢትዮጵያ መድን ድርጅት ኃላፊነት ተሰጥቶታል፡፡ ‹‹ኢትዮጵያ ውስጥ አስተማማኝ ሰላም አለ ከሚል እሳቤ ባለሀብቶቹ በአብዛኛው በጦርነት ወይም በሁከት ለሚከሰት የንብረት ውድመት የመድን ዋስትና አልገቡም፤›› ያሉት ኃላፊው፣ ኮሚሽኑ ጉዳዩን ከኢትዮጵያ መድን ድርጅት ጋር በመተባበር በማጣራት ላይ መሆኑን ጠቁመዋል፡፡ ባለሀብቶቹ በአጠቃላይ ያቀረቡት የካሳ ጥያቄ መጠን ለማወቅ አልተቻለም፡፡
መንግሥት በካሳ ጥያቄው ላይ እየሠራ በመሆኑ የክፍያው መጠን ገና ተለይቶ እንዳልታወቀ የገለጹት ኃላፊው፣ መንግሥት ለወደሙት የባለሀብቶች ንብረቶች ተመጣጣኝ ክፍያ ለመፈጸም ቁርጠኝነት እንዳሳየ አስረድተዋል፡፡
ከአዲስ አበባና ከኦሮሚያ ልዩ ዞን የጋራ ማስተር ፕላን ጋር በተያያዘ ባለፈው ኅዳር ወር በኦሮማያ ክልል የተለያዩ አካባቢዎች በተቀሰቀሰው አመፅ መንግሥት ቁጥሩን በይፋ ያልገለጸው የበርካታ ሰዎች ሕይወት የጠፋ ሲሆን፣ ግምቱ በውል ያልታወቀ የግልና የመንግሥት ንብረት ላይ ከፍተኛ ውድመት ደርሷል፡፡ ሁከቱ በቱሪስትና የውጭ ኢንቨስትመንት ፍሰት ላይ አሉታዊ ተፅዕኖ ሊያሳድር እንደሚችል እየተገለጸ ነው፡፡

Another opportunistic juicy excuse to loot the nation as usual.
When TPLF came from Dedebit, they destroyed lots of bridges, plundered banks, burnt public and private properties and demolished important infrastructure. At the end of the day, the prime loser was Ethiopia. Yet, history repeats itself and another round of destruction was unfolding in Oromia part of our country as an expression of raw anger. Again, Ethiopia is the loser. Destruction will aggravate the level of poverty than resolving the legitimate question of Ethiopians. A struggle which is guided by emotion simply misses the target. As far as my knowledge is concerned, the goal of the protest was to seek durable justice for the sheer injustice committed by an ethnocentric mafia government. Arbitrary justice to right injustice is nothing but the commission of ignorance. At times where tens of thousands of our citizens are risking their life to cross the Mediterranean or many of young women selling themselves for brutal Arab retards just because their country do not offer them decent jobs, here we are again hacking our businesses that may provide some relief to jobs seeking compatriots. And the irony is we the tax payers are again liable to compensate these businesses for the damage we caused as a result of our emotional decisions.
Once upon a time I happened to be in Japan and I was amazed by the fact that even the smallest restaurants has survived for 30 or 40 generations. I saw one noodle restaurant celebrated its 800th year. When I asked some Japanese friends the secrets of its longevity, I found out that in Japan the first child has the privilege of inheriting his family business. Therefore, that company transferred intact from generation to generation and grows all over the country. Then I came to know why there is no even 50 years old company in Ethiopian. It is because our culture promotes destruction than building on whatever we have. The seven or more children will simply sell and share their company or property just the next day their father is buried.
We engage in destruction after destruction and found ourselves way beyond poor and destitute to cope with the fast moving world!

Thank you for your insightful judgement. I am also one of the local person who thought the burning of property is not wise since our target should be the TPLF / EPRDF regime. I know that TPLF will soon exploit the situation by labeling protesters as nothing but hooligans. In stead of burning it we better have been made claim of ownership once the Woyane regime is gone for good. You are right, it is just like “hasty bites horn”.
