ስለዚህ አንዱና ትልቁ የተቃዋሚ ፓርቲዎች ድክመት ስር ነቀል የለውጥ የፖለቲካ ስትራቴጂ አማራጭ ሐሳብ፣ አማራጭ ፕሮግራምና አማራጭ ስትራቴጂ አለመከተላቸው ነው፡፡ ሁለተኛው ድክመታቸው አማራጭ አደረጃጀትና የእንቅስቃሴ ጥንካሬ አለማሳየታቸው ነው፡፡ ለመሆኑ ተቃዋሚ ድርጅቶች አባሎቻቸውና ደጋፊዎቻቸው ምን ያህል ይሆናሉ? ድንገት ካልሆነ ለመሆኑ ዓመታዊ ጉባዔ ያካሂዳሉ ወይ? ለመሆኑ በፓርቲያቸው ውስጥ ወቅቱን የጠበቀ ምርጫና ግምገማ ይካሄዳል ወይ? የውስጥ ኦዲት ይደረጋል ወይ? ግልጽነት አለ ወይ? ፓርቲውን ሁሌም የሚመራው አንድ ዓይነት ኃይል ነው? አባላት ይሁኑ የለውጥ ሃይል አክቲቭኢስቶች ከታሰሩ በኋላ ምን ጠንካራ እርምጃ ይውሰዳል? በቂ የሆነ የደህነት እና የስለላ መዋቅር አላቸው ወይ ? ወዘተ የሚለው መታየት አለበት፡፡ሌላው ትልቁ ድክመት ይህ ነው፡፡ ተቃዋሚ ፓርቲዎች በውስጣቸው ጥንካሬ አይታይም፡፡ ዲሞክራሲያዊ ሕይወት አይንፀባረቅም፡፡ ይህ የሚያሳየን አማራጭ ሐሳብ መኖሩ ብቻ ሳይሆን፣ አማራጭ ሐሳብ ተይዞም ወደ ድርጅታዊ እንቅስቃሴና ጥንካሬ ካልተቀየረ በተስፈኛ ሚዲያዎች በሲዲና በወረቀት በፕሮፓጋንዳ ብቻ ማሳየት አቅም አለመኖሩን ማሳያ ነው፡፡
