የሃይሌ ገ/ሥላሴ የለንደን ኦሎምፒክ ምዕራፍ ተዘጋ
ሃይሌ ገ/ሥላሴ በመጨው የለንደን ኦሎምፒክ ጨዋታ ለመሳተፍ የነበረው ተሥፋ ትናንት በኔዘርላንድ-ሄንገሎ ማጣሪያ ውድድር ፍሬ ሳይሰጥ ቀርቷል። ቀደም ሲል በማራቶን ለተሳትፎ ለመብቃት ያደረገው ጥረት ያልተሳካለት ሃይሌ በትናንቱ የአሥር ሺህ ሜትር ሩጫ በሰባተኝነት ተወስኖ ነው የቀረው። እርግጥ ሃይሌ ያሰበው አይሁንለት እንጂ የፈጀው ጊዜ አንድ ከ 36 ዓመት ዕድሜ በላይ የሆነ አትሌት እስካሁን ካስመዘገበው ሁሉ የፈጠነ ነበር። ይህም ክብረ-ወሰን ጥቂትም ቢሆን የክብረ-ወሰኑን ንጉስ ሊያጽናና ይገባል።
የኢትዮጵያ አትሌቲክስ ፌደሬሺን ይህን ታላቅ የስፖርት ሰው የውድድር ተሳትፎው ቢቀር እንኳ በይፋ ወኪልነት ወደ ለንደኑ ኦሎምፒክ ቢልከው በጣሙን የሚገባው ነው። በዓለምአቀፉ የስፖርት መድረክ በተጎናጸፋቸው በርካታ ድሎቹ የኢትዮጵያ ሰንደቅ ዓላማ ከፍ ብሎ እንዲነሣ ሲያስደርግ በበጎ አምባሳደርነት አገሩን በመወከል ያደረገው ታላቅ አስተዋጽኦው ጨርሶ መረሳት የሌለበት ነገር ነው።
ወደ ትናንቱ ውድድር መለስ እንበልና በሩጫው ታሪኩ በቀለ፣ ሊሊሣ ደሲሣና ስለሺ ስሂኔ ከአንድ እስከ ሶሥት በመከታተል ቀደምቱ ሲሆኑ በተለይም አሸናፊው ታሪኩ ደስታውን በታላቅ ስሜት ነበር የገለጸው።
በለንደኑ ኦሎምፒክ ኢትዮጵያን ወክለው የሚወዳደሩት ስፖርተኞች እስከ ሰኔ 30 ቀን በሙሉ የሚመረጡ ሲሆን በተለይም ወጣቶቹ አትሌቶች ለነሃይሌ ጥሩ ተተኪ እንደሚሆኑ ተሥፋ እናደርጋለን። የሄንገሎውን ሩጫ በአካባቢው ሃገራት የሚኖሩ በርካታ ኢትዮጵያውንም በቅርብ ሲከታተሉ በሃይሌ መሸነፍ ቢያዝኑም ድሉ የኢትዮጵያውን በመሆኑ መካሳቸውን ነው በደስታ የገለጹት።
ሩጫውን በተመለከተ ውድድሩን በስፍራው ተገኝታ የተከታተለችውን ወኪላችንን ሃይማኖት ጥሩነህን ዛሬ በስልክ አነጋግሬ ነበር።
በተቀረ ትናንት ራባት ላይ ተካሂዶ በነበረ ዓለምአቀፍ ውድድርም የኢትዮጵያ አትሌቶች አንዳንድ ጥሩ ውጤቶች ማስመዝገቡ ሆኖላቸው ነበር። የዘንድሮው የኢስታምቡል የአዳራሽ ውስጥ የዓለም ሻምፒዮና የ 800 ሜትር አሸናፊ መሐመድ አማን በሞሮኮም ድሉን ደግሞታል። በ 3 ሺህ ሜትር መሰናክል በወንዶች ጋሪ ሮባ ሲያሸንፍ በሴቶችም ሕይወት አያሌው ቀደምቷ ሆናለች። ዘገባውን ያዳምጡ
I am so glad that woyane’s puppet Gebreselassie fails to qualify. He is one of the most hated person in the country along his masters at present time. Once he was highly regarded as a hero until his deception to the people to the extent of not allowing his own children to learn an Ethiopian language. Haile humiliated himself and lost it all by will. The only thing left for him is to go through a plastic surgeon and bleach himself. I think the worst for Haile is yet to come since his pseudo “shemagele” role to maintain the status quo. Once again I am very thrilled by his failure and this might be the beginning of the end for him and his likes. Elelelele
There is no doubt that athlet Haile is the great ambassaodr of Ethiopia as far as his world-wide recognition in the arena of sport in general and athletics in particular is concerned. And we are not only rgateful to his great role but aslo proud of him !! The Ethiopian people do not have any doubt about his contribution he has made to this national pride ! And I strongly want to believe that the people wish him the best in the rest of his life.
But, would it be not only kind of flatering but also disingineous if we are not honest enough both with ourselves and with athlet Haile concerning his self-damaging involvement with his terribly close association with a verty evil-guided regime of our time?? I am afraid that if he is not courageous enough to make up his mind and make sincere apology to his great and innocent supporters and admirers ,the people of Ethiopia , his greatness will severely be compromised and overshadowed by his recent (particularly since the 2005 election) very disgraceful behavior towards the genuine struggle waged by the people of Ethiopia against the ruthless regime of TPLF/EPRDF. It has to be understood clearly and loudly that his greatness in the world of sport cannot be an execuse for dancing with a ruling circle which is the very root cause of the dehumanization or humuliation of the innocent people of Ethiopia. It is extremely difficult if not impossible to see his greatness in such a horrible general crisis (political,socio-economic, moral) in which he is intended to be part of it. I know this sounds harshly rude . But I cautiously argue that that is the way it is !
Let’s hope our great compatriots in various fields of activities who became victms of the tyrannic regime intentionally or otherwise will get back to the the real cause of the people and make great contribution!!

Hagere, I can not agree more with what you have stated about Haile. Haile, the once highly respected and iconic athlete to all Ethiopians is no more taken seriously by the people across the board. on the other hand he seems not to care about anyone as long as his interest is protected by woyanes. He chose to dine and dance and gives reward in some instances for murderers and butchers. He is also not proud of his own heritage and himself. His children are strictly learning foreign languages and don’t even know how to speak the national language of Ethiopia. Personally, Haile is not any different than Al Alamudi they are alike and the same. They will stay there as long as their personal interest is preserved. Now the time is getting closer for Haile and his likes to swallow the sour truth and the option is very clear. Haile needs to have gut to apologize to the people of Ethiopia for his deception before it is too late.
There is no way that Haile could be a hero. He did all for his own business. Just remember as he was at the sixth or seventh place in number of medals at the olympic so far.
