Amazing, Stiglitz is supposed to give a correction info about Meles. He didn’t say anything about all the bad things Meles does. He just cited those controversial statistics (which are much less reliable than the clearly visible human right violations and political repression) to praise Meles. Stiglitz is smart, but that doesn’t justify his arrogance and failure to realize that Ethiopians should have the right to be free from repressive rulers.
