ማኅበራዊ ሚዲያን ዘግቶ የጎንደር ዐማሮችን ለመጨፍጨፍ በንጹኃን ሰዎች ላይ የጥይት እሩምታ ከፍቷል፡፡ ከፊል የወልቃይት የዐማራ ማንነት አስተባባሪ ከሚቴዎችን አፍኖ ወስዷል፤ ቀሪዎችን ለመውሰድ በመከላከያና በፌደራል ፖሊስ አካባቢው ከቧል፡፡መንገዶች ከታች በምስሉ እንደሚታየው ተዘግተዋል።አንድ የወልቃይት ዐማራ በጥይት ተመቶ ሆስፒታል ገብቷል፡፡የፌደራል ፓሊስ የለበሱ የትግራይ ልዩ ኃይሎች በጎንደር ዐማሮች ላይ ተኩስ ከፍተዋል፤ ሰዎችም እየሞቱ ነው። መንገዶች ከታች በምስሉ እንደሚታየው ተዘግተዋል።ኮሎኔል ደመቀ ዘውዱ እጅ አልሰጥም በማለት ከደህንነት አባላት የተታኮሱ ሲሆን የወያኔ ወታደሮች ግንሞርታር እየተጠቀሙ ነው፤ ሕዝቡ ወደ ኮሎኔሉ ቤት የጎረፈ ሲሆን ባለው መረጃ የኮሎኔል ደመቀ ቤት በሞርታር ተመቷል።
ፌደራል ፖሊሶችና መከላከያዎች ባንኮችንና የመንግስት መስሪያ ቤቶችን ብቻ እየጠበቁ ነው። የህወሃት የንግድ ቤቶችና ሰላም ባስ አውቶቡስ ተቃጥሏል። ወጣቱ አካባቢውን በድንጋይ እየዘጋ ፖሊሶች መተላለፊያ እንዳያገኙ እያደረገ ነው። ጎንደር ከዚህ ቀደም ባልታዬ ከፍተኛ ተቃውሞ እየተናጠች ነው።
የወልቃይት ህዝብ ኮ/ል ደመቀ ዘውዱን ለማገዝ በጉዞ ላይ መሆኑም ተሰምቷል። ወታደሮች ጥግ ጥግ ይዘው አካባቢውን እየቃኙ ነው። የአማራ ክልል ልዩ ሃይል አጣብቂኝ ውስጥ ገብቷል።
እስካሁን ባለን መረጃ 7 ሰዎች እና 4 የፌደራል ፖሊሶች ተገድለዋል። በመንግስት በኩል የተሰጠ መግለጫ ባለመኖሩ የሟቾችን ቁጥር ለማወቅ አልተቻለም። ኢሳት የኮሚቴው አባላትንና ነዋሪዎችን አነጋግሯል። ሁሉም በአንድ ድምጽ ጎንደር ታይቶ በማይታወቅ ተቃውሞ እየተናጠች ነው ይላሉ።

ይህ የአንድ አናሳ ቡድን ፋሽስታዊ ሥርዓት በዐማራው ሕዝብ ላይ የሚያደርሰውን በደል ዘርዝረን አንዘልቀውም፡፡ በጎንደር ከተማ ብቻ ከ1983 ዓ.ም. ጀምሮ የገደለውን ሰው ብዛት ማንም ቆጥሮ አይዘልቀውም፡፡ ይህ ሥርዓት በ85/86 ዓ.ም. በአዲስ ዓመት ዋዜማ አደባባይ ኢየሱስ ገብቶ ከ60 በላይ ምዕመንን ረፈረፈ፤ የቤተ መቅደስ መጋረጃዎች በደም የጨቀየ የቤተ መቅደስ መወልወያ ሆነ፡፡ የሞተ አስከሬን የከፈን ጨርቅ ሆነ፡፡ በ2006/7 ዓ.ም. ጥረው ግረው የሠሩትን ቤት በገንፎ ቁጭ አካባቢ አፈራረሰ፤ ብዙ ሰዎችንም በጠራራ ፀሐይ ገደለ፡፡ በ2008 ዓ.ም. ማረሚያ ቤት አቃጥሎ በሕግ ጥላ ሥር ያሉ ከ100 የሚልቁ ዐማሮችን በጅምላ ጨረሰ፡፡
