የፈረንጅ አምልኮ በኢትዮጵያ
የፈረንጅ አምልኮ በኢትዮጵያ መኖሩን ሳናውቅ ስር ሰዶ ከርሟል፡፡ ምንም እንኳን ጉዳዩ ቅርጫፉን የዘረጋው አሁን ቢሆንም÷ ከጥንት የተጀመረ አምልኮ ስለመሆኑ የታሪክ ድርሳናትን በመመርመር መረዳት ይቻላል፡፡
የፈረንጅ አምልኮ ድሮ
የፈረንጅ አምልኮ ለመጀመሪያ ጊዜ የተጣባን ክርስትና እና እስልምና ወደኢትዮጵያ በገቡበት ዘመን እንደሆነ አምናለሁ፡፡ ይሄ ብዙዎችን የሚያናድድ አስተሳሰብ ቢሆንም÷ እኔን ግን ከማሳመን አላለፈም፡፡ ምክንያቱም ኢትዮጵያውያን ሀገር በቀል እምነቶችንና ስልጣኔዎችን ደምስሰው ባዕዳን ሃይማኖቶችንና ስልጣኔዎችን የተቀበሉት በነዚያ ጊዜያት ነው፡፡
የአክሱም ዘመን ስልጣኔ ዱካ ሳይተው የኮበለለበት ምስጢር ከዚህ የባዕድ ስልጣኔ ወረራ ጋር በተያያዘ ይመስለኛል፡፡ ለዚህ እንደመላምት የምጠቅሰው÷ ክርስትያናዊ፣ አይሁዳዊ (ዮዲት) እና እስላማዊ (ግራኝ መሐመድን) የመሳሰሉ ኃያላን ግዛታቸውንና እምነታቸውን ለማስፋፋት ሲንቀሳቀሱ የቀድሞውንና የተቃራኒውን እምነት ከነስልጣኔው የመደምሰስ ስልት ይጠቀሙ የነበረ መሆኑን በማስታወስ ነው፡፡ እንግዲህ በ4ኛው ክፍለዘመን ክርስትና ከመግባቱ በፊት የነበረውን ኢትዮጵያዊ ስልጣኔ በመደምሰሱ መጠ’የቅ የሚኖርበት ክርስትና ነው ለማለት እንችላለን፡፡
በቅርብ ጊዜ ተመዝግበው ከተቀመጡ የታሪክ ድርሳናት መካከል የምወዳቸው አጤ ምኒልክ (ዳግማዊ) ራሳቸው የዚህ አምልኮ ሰለባ ሊሆኑ እየዳዳቸው እንደነበር የጳውሎስ ኞኞ ‹‹አጤ ምኒልክ›› ያሰፈራት ንግግር ትነግረናለች፡፡ በርግጥ እምዬ ምኒልክ ከኛ ትውልድ በተሻለ የፈረንጆችን የሥራ ችሎታ እንደሚያደንቁ እንጂ እንደማያመልኩ ንግግራቸው ይናገራል፡፡ ሚያዝያ 1፤ 1889 የሲኒማ ‹ፕሮጀክተር› አስመጥተው ከመኳንንቶቻቸውጋ የኢየሱስን ታሪክ በፊልም በተመለከቱ ጊዜ÷ ‹‹…እነኚህ ፈረንጆች እኮ የማይሠሩት ነገር የለም፡፡ ሁሉንም ነገር ሲሰሩ የሰው ነፍስ ብቻ መሥራት አልቻሉም፡፡›› ብለው ተናገሩ፡፡ (ገጽ 337)
እዚህ አካባቢ ሙግቴ ተጣምሞ ጠንካራ ሠራተኝነትን ማድነቅ እያወገዝኩ ሊመስልብኝ ይችላል፡፡ እኔ እያወገዝኩ ያለሁት ጠንካራ ሠራተኝነትን ከፈረንጅነትጋ ተቃራኒውን ደግሞ ከኛጋ ማቆራኘቱን መሆኑን ላሳስብ እወዳለሁ፡፡ እኒህ አባባሎችና አስተሳሰቦች ተጠራቅመው በዘመናችን ሰዎች ላይ ያሳደሩትን ተፅዕኖ ቀጥለን ለመመልከት እንሞክራለን፡፡
የፈረንጅ አምልኮ ዘንድሮ
በዚህ ዘመን ደግሞ ምንም ይሁን ምን የፈረንጅ ከሆነ ጥሩ ነው፤ እንዲያውም ጥሩ ከሆነ የፈረንጅ ነው፡፡ የፈረንጅ ዶሮ፣ የፈረንጅ ቀጠሮ፣ የፈረንጅ ላም፣ የፈረንጅ ጥድ፣ የፈረንጅ ዳቦ፤ ሁሉም ከ‹ሐበሻ› ተብዬዎቹ ‹‹የተሻሉ›› ናቸው ስለተባለ ነው ስያሜውም የተሰጣቸው፡፡ በርግጥ የፈረንጅ ተመራማሪዎች በማዳቀልም ይሁን በተሻሻለ አሠራር ያመረቷቸውን ነገሮች ማሞካሸት ነውር የለውም፡፡ ችገሩ፣ ቃላቶቻችን ጥሩ ነገርን መሥራት የሚችሉ ወይም ጥሩ ነገሮች በሙሉ የፈረንጅ ናቸው የሚል አንድምታ ያላቸው መሆኑ ላይ ነው፡፡ የኔ ፍራቻ በሃገራችን ተዳቅሎ የተመረተው ‹‹ቁንጮ ጤፍ››÷ ‹‹የፈረንጅ ጤፍ›› ሲባል ላለመስማት ነው - እስካሁን ካልተባለ!
የዚህ ዘመን የፈረንጅ አምልኮ ብዙ መልክ አለው፡፡ የአንድን ነገር ትልቅነት ለማመልከት የፈረንጅ ቅባት መቀባት አስፈላጊ ይመስላል፡፡ ትምህርት ቤቱ ፈረንጆች ናቸው የሚያስተምሩበት፣ ፕሮጀክቱን ፈረንጆች ናቸው ያጠኑት፣ ፖሊሲውን ፈረንጆች ይጠቀሙበታል፣ ባሏ ፈረንጅ ነው፣ ከፈረንጅ አገር ነው የመጣው እና ወዘተርፈ፡፡
ፈረንጅ እያልን የምንጠራቸው ማሕበረሰቦች በርግጥም ‹‹በዘመናዊነት እና በስልጣኔ ስለሚበልጡን›› ከነርሱ መማር እና አርአያነታቸውን መከተሉ ጉዳት የለውም፡፡ ጉዳት የሚኖረው እነሱ ከኔ የተሻሉ ናቸው፤ ለችግሮቼ መፍትሄ ማበጀት የሚችሉትም እነሱ ናቸው የሚል የጥገኝነትና የአምልኮ መደምደሚያ ላይ መድረስ ነው፡፡ የአገሩን በሬ በአገሩ ሰርዶ ይባላልና ለእኛ እድገትና ዘመነኝነት ከእኛ በስተቀር ሞክሮ የሚሳካለት አይኖርም፡፡
በርግጥ ሌላም የማይካድ ሐቅ አለ፡፡ ፈረንጆች ከጥቁሮች ይልቅ ውጤታማ እና ‹ኢንተሊጀንስ ኮሸንታቸውም› ከፍ ያለ እንደሆነ አንዳንድ ጥናቶች ያመላክታሉ፡፡ ብዙዎቹ ይሄንን ከዘረኝነት ነጥለው አያዩትም፡፡ ለኔ ግን የሚያስደንቅ ግኝት አይደለም፡፡ በየትኛውም የዓለማችን ክፍል ፈረንጆች ከጥቁሮች የበለጠ የትምህርትና የተመቻቸ የኑሮ ሁኔታ አላቸው፡፡ ‹ኢንተሊጀንስ ኮሸንት› ከተፈጥሮ ባሻገር÷ የቀለም ትምህርት የሚያጎለብተው ጉዳይ መሆኑን ከመናገር የበለጠ ይኼ የተለየ ትርጉም የሌለው መሆኑን መረዳት ግድ ይላል፡፡
ነገር ግን በፈረንጅ የስልጣኔ ደረጃ እና ፍላጎት ላይ ተመስርተው የሚነደፉትም ሆነ የሚቀየሱት ጥብቆና ጎጆዎች ማንፀባረቅ የሚችሉትም ሆነ የሚስማሙት ለራሳቸው ለፈረንጆቹ ብቻ እንደሆነ ሊዘነጋ የማይገባው እውነታ ነው፡፡
ስልጣኔ አንድ መስመር ይዞ የሚጓዝ፣ አንድ ትርጉም ያለው የሒሳብ ቀመር አይደለም፡፡ ሕዝቦች በእሴቶቻቸው እና በማሕበራዊ ማንነታቸው ላይ ተመስርተው የሚያበጁት በየዘመኑ የሚዘምን የአስተሳሰብና የአተገባበር ዘዬ ነው፡፡
የእጅ አዙር ቅኝ ግዛት
‹‹ኢትዮጵያ በቅኝ ግዛት ያልተደፈረች ብቸኛዋ አፍሪካዊት አገር ናት፤›› የሚለው ነጠላ ዜማችን ነው፡፡ ነጠላ ዜማዎች ከአልበሙ ይዘት አፈንግጠው የተሻሉ ቢሆኑ አልበሙ ላይ የሚያመጡት ለውጥ አይኖርም፡፡ በግሌ ‹‹ፈረንጅን እግዚአብሔር ፅድ’ት አድርጎ የፈጠረው ፍጡር ነው›› የሚሉ በርካታ ኢትዮጵያውያን ገጥመውኛል፡፡ በርግጥም እያንዳንዳችን ራሳችንን ለመታዘብ የምንጥር ከሆነ ‹‹የፈረንጅ›› እና ‹‹የሐበሻ›› ነገሮችን የምናይበት ዓይን እኩል አይደለም፡፡ ስለዚህ በተዘዋዋሪ የነሱ ተገዢ ያውም አምላኪ መሆናችን ካልቀረ÷ ፀጥለጥ ብለን ተገዝተን ሙሉ ማንነታችንን ደምስሰው፣ ሙሉ ማንነታቸውን እና ሙሉ ስልጣኔያቸውን ቢያወርሱን ምንም አልነበረም፡፡ ቅኝ የመገዛትና ያለመገዛት ልዩነቱ ማንነትና እሴትን ጠብቆ ማኖር ነው ከተባለ ግን አሁን ከዚያ የበለጠ እየሸረሸርነው እንደሆነ መናገር አይከብድም፡፡

your choice of title is very disgusting. We never worship Ferenji that is why we faught hard and and sustained our identity. All informations are hidden or lost because of war ot looting. There were Banda like melese but the are gone together.
I think the name ferenj came from the word French(France) rather than foreign. I am not still sure, but it looks that way.

I see the white picture of jesus christ. This is a white dominated world. It also means the other races suffer from identity crisis, feeling of inferiority complex. It is tough to be ones own race. The majority of ethiopians worship the white skin (ferenj meselik wodaje is a usual complement). While the contribution of the white race in science and technology is outstanding and should be greatly appeciated, we must also bear in mind the white race is the epicenter of the ugliest form of racism that spread to the rest of the world like wild fire. 1st the word ferenj comes from the word French not foreign. Axumite civilization is not collapsed due to Christianity. Read history. Most of the time you don’t dare to put facts but ‘yimeslegnal’. I think you didn’t do your home work before you pen your idea.

The story sounds interesting. However, Ethiopia was not isolated from the world. Every Ethiopia citizen doesn’t have complete history of his/her county. Many stories/ histories of the country has been told by individuals in a way which the stories wouldn’t reflect any negative of the tribe or class he/she (the teller) comes from. For Example, the ormos wants some parts to be removed from the history of the country. Some things in the article are exaggerated. Because of its favorable environment, the country has been in civil wars for many years. It is one of the very few countries that have excellent weather conditions throughout the year. Don’t forget that the country has had more than 60 different tribes which have had their own strong traditions. Time is needed to educate and bring all these tribes to unity. The country has had a lot of interesting stories other than the stories mentioned above in the article. The civil wars that Ethiopia has been, many other countries interest in Ethiopia, the countries resistance to foreign invaders….. have destroyed many of its impressive histories. Honestly speaking, every single experience the country has been through is experiences that other countries faced. I don’t know why but Ethiopia’s experiences have been exaggerated. The cold war between America (the west) and Russia made Ethiopia’s name worst.
If you take the 1984/85 famine, it has been told as if the famine had happened all over the country. It was only happened in a very specific place around the mid-north of the country. Almost all countries in the world have had the experience of famine, civil-war, drought, civil unrest,…. There are still countries under such experiences other than Ethiopia. A lot of things can be said about why it looks that the world sees Ethiopia as the only country with worst experiences. It is true that the country has some things that make it different from the world, such as its language (no other country speaks its language),…. Its uniqueness doesn’t make the country to be mention in the Oxford dictionary as if it has been the only country with famine experience. The country can’t be defined as a famine country.
Whether we like it or not, what Ethiopia is going through is something it has to go through to be developed. Things might be bad. The government might be worst one. We should always remember that governments are replaced by other governments, officials are replaced, but the country will always be there. There are still people who love their county.
Please check every developed countries’ history.
