If i was to put demands i would say,
1. release all political prisoners.
2. allow free speech, that means drop those terrorism laws that are disproportionate and in reality were meant to fight the political opposition.
3. abolish tribalism, which includes dissolving the Killils and reintroducing the former provinces, abolishing tribal labels on IDs and abolishing §39.
The above 3 measures could be taken by the TPLF within a short period of time, lets say in less than 3 months.
After that steps should be taken,
4. to fight corruption.
5. to bring the military, police and national security organs beyond the control of TPLF.
6. to write a new constitution, to organize elections, etc
The last three measures could be taken in a period of few months to few years.
I believe congratulations is in order for the above listed heroes Tigreans. The above listed Tigreans intellectuals who proposed setting up transitional government must be commended for the courageous stand they took. These are real Tigreans that love and respect their Ethiopian cousins. They did not agree with the existing ethnic junta’s way of governance.
