የግብጽ የውጭ ጉዳይ ሚ/ር፤ከግድቡ ጋር በተያያዘ አስጊ የሆኑ አደጋዎች ተጋርጠውብናል
የግብጽ የውጭ ጉዳይ ሚኒስትር ሳሜን ሹክሪ፤ “የታላቁ የኢትዮጵያ ህዳሴ ግድብ እውን ሆኗል፣ ህልውናውን ለመካድ መሞከር ራስን መሸንገል ነው፤ በተጨባጭ የምናየውን ግድብ ህልውና ለመካድ መሞከር አያዋጣንም” ማለታቸውን አሃራም የተባለው የአገሪቱ ድረገጽ ዘገበ፡፡
ሚኒስትሩ ባለፈው ማክሰኞ አል-ሃያት በተባለው የአገሪቱ የቴሌቪዥን ጣቢያ ባደረጉት ንግግር፣ አገሪቱ የግድቡን ጉዳይ በተመለከተ የምታደርገው እንቅስቃሴ በጥርጣሬ፣ ባለመተማመንና በተጋነኑ አደጋዎች ላይ የተመሰረተ አለመሆኑን ጠቁመው፣ ይሄም ሆኖ ግን ከግድቡ ጋር በተያያዘ ለአገሪቱ አስጊ የሆኑ አደጋዎች መኖራቸውን አስታውቀዋል፡፡
መንግስታቸው እነዚህ አደጋዎች በአገሪቱ ላይ ምንም አይነት ጉዳት የማያደርሱበትን መላ ለመፍጠር የሚያስችል ስምምነት ለመፈጸም ከኢትዮጵያና ከሱዳን ጋር ውይይት እያደረገ እንደሚገኝ ሚኒስትሩ ቢናገሩም፣ የአደጋዎቹን ባህሪና ምንነት በተመለከተ ግን ግልጽ ማብራሪያ አለመስጠታቸውን ዘገባው ጠቁሟል፡፡

Of course Egypt wants to keep Ethiopia weak and poor, ferenjis want that also.
The weaker your enemy or your potential enemy is the less threat he poses to you.
That is also why USA has a policy of keeping Africa weak and poor for decades. USA views Africa as a potential enemy because of the blacks in the USA.
If Egypt really has water issues and it doesn’t want to use its huge aquifer, then it should work to connect the white Nile with the huge Congo river.
