And if we can take the result of the 1997 elections as a guide the immediate steps should be,
1. ending tribalism,
2. dissolving the Killils and
3. reintroducing the former provinces.
Those measures could be taken within days or weeks after the removal of the TPLF regime by forces with pan Ethiopian agendas.
Other steps like,
4. fighting corruption, rampant among the military,
5. holding members of the TPLF regime accountable for their crimes,
6. language issues,
7. a new constitution (i am for introducing a constitutional monarchy in Ethiopia) and
8. elections
could be taken months or years after the end of the TPLF and tribalism era, no need to hurry there.
