ከደቡብ ኦሞ ዞን ጂንካ ከተማ በሽብርተኝነት የፈጠራ ውንጀላ ታስረው በጠፍ ሌሊት ወደ አዋሳ የተወሰዱትና ከ20/07/08 ጀምሮ በአዋሳ ፖሊስ ኮሚሽን ግቢ ታስረው የሚገኙት የኦሞ ህዝቦች ዲሞክራሲያዊ ኅብረት ም/ሊቀመንበርና የዞኑ ጽ/ቤት ኃላፊ መምህር ዓለማዬሁ መኮንን ፣ የኦህዲኅ አባል አቶ አብርሃም ብዙነህና የቀድሞ አንድነት የዞኑ ተጠሪ የነበሩት አቶ ስለሺ ጌታቸው ፖሊስ የጠየቀባቸውን የ14 ቀን የጊዜ ቀጠሮ ጨርሰው ዛሬ በ05/08/08 ፍርድ ቤት ቀርበው ለመጪው ሃሙስ ( ሚያዝያ13/08) መቀጠራቸው ታውቋል ፡፡ በችሎት ላይ የተገኙት የኦህዲኅ አባላትና የታሳሪዎች ቤተሰቦች እንደገለጹት ፖሊስ መረጃ የማሰባሰብና የምርመራ ሥራዬን ስላላጠናቀቅሁ የ14 ቀን ተጨማሪ የጊዜ ቀጠሮ እንዲሰጠው ጠይቆ ነበር፡፡ ፍርድ ቤቱ በመጀመሪያ ‹‹ ጥያቄው አግባብ ያለመሆኑን ባልተሰበሰበ መረጃና ባልተደረገ ምርመራ ተጠርጣሪዎችን ማሰርም ሆነ እዚህ ድረስ ማምጣት አልነበረባችሁም ፣ ይህ በህግ አሰራርም ሆነ ከሰብዐዊ መብት አኳያ አግባብ አይደለም ›› ብሎ ከገሰጸ በኋላ ‹‹መዘንጋት የሌለበት እነዚህ ሰዎች በጠባብ ቦታ ነው ያሉት ፣ እኛ ደግሞ በሰፊው፣ ስለዚህ የተጠየቀው የጊዜ ቀጠሮ ምን የተለየና ተጨማሪ ነገር ለማድረግ ነው ?›› ሲል ጠይቋል፡፡ ፖሊስ ሰጠው መልስ የሰው ማስረጃዎችና ተጨማሪ መረጃዎች እያሰባሰብን ያለነው ከዞኑ- ጂንካ በመሆኑ ከቦታው ርቀትና ከዞኑ ፖሊስ ጋር ስለምንሰራ ነው፣ ስለዚህም የተጠየቀው የ14 ቀናት የጊዜ ቀጠሮ እንዲፈቀድለት አስረድቷል፡፡ አቶ ዓለማዬሁ በበኩላቸው ‹‹ ከጅምሩ የታሰርነውና ቤተሰብ፣ ወዳጅ ዘመድ ወደሌለበት ያመጡን ያለአግባብ ነው፣ አሁን እየተጠየቀ ያለው የጊዜ ቀጠሮም ምንም በሌለበት እንዲሁ ለማንገላታት ነውና ፖሊስ አለኝ የሚለውን ማስረጃና የምርመራ ውጤት ያቅርብ ፣ ይህ ካልሆነ ፍርድ ቤቱ በነጻ ያሰናብተን ዘንድ እንጠይቃለን››ሲሉ አመልክተዋል፡፡ ፍርድ ቤቱ የሁለቱንም ወገን ካደመጠ በኋላ ‹‹ የአንድ ሳምንት ጊዜ ይበቃችኋል›› በሚል ለመጪው ሃሙስ ሚያዝያ 13/08 ዓ.ም. ፖሊስ መረጃዎችንና ማስረጃዎችን አሰባስቦ፣ ምርመራውን አጠናቆ እንዲያቀርብ ሲል ቀጠሮ ሰጥቷል ፡፡ በተጨማሪም በዛሬው ችሎት ታሳሪዎች ከመያዛቸው አስቀድሞ ቤታቸው ሲፈተሸ የነበሩ እማኞች በችሎት ያለመቅረባቸው ተረጋግጧል፡፡ ከዚሁ ጋር በተያያዘ ኢሳት እነ ዓለማዬሁ ከመታሰራቸው ጥቂት ቀናት በፊት በዞኑ ውስጥ በኢንቨስትመንት ስም የሚፈጸመውን የመሬት ቅርምት፣ ይህም በዞኑ ልማት ላይ ያሳደረውን ተጽዕኖና የመሬት ቅርምቱ ከ98 ከመቶ በላይ የተፈጸመው በህወኃት አባላትና ደጋፊዎች መሆኑንና በዚህ ጉዳይ ላይ አቶ ዓለማዬሁና የድርጅቱ ሊቀመንበር አቶ ግርማ በቀለ አስተያየት መስጠታቸውን መዘገቡ ይታወሳል ፡፡
