የፈረደባችሁ! እንደተለመደው፡በችጋር፡ለማለቅ፡መቸኮል፡ምን፡ሊዘርፉ፡ነው፡ያው፡ድህነት፡እየጠራን፡ነው፡አንቸኩል፡ይልቅስ፡እንዴት፡እንደሚሰሩ፡ማጥናትና፡እራስን ፡መቻል፡ነው።
My world view has pretty much changed ever since I read ‘The world on fire’ by Amy Chua. She explains how economic and government systems around the world operate in the context of social devisions and why conflicts are prevalent everwhere.
Minority groups in many parts of the world dominate the market and political leadership and business entities and corporations are very instrumental for their sustenances. It is basically a symbiotic relationship, like Heineken bribes the minority Ethiopian officials, who inturn provide land & tax break to the beer company. Where there is a little bit of democracy, this leads to perpetual unrest and civil war, like the one between Huttu & Tutsi, Orangs & Indonesians, etc.
Woyane’s love to foreign investors isn’t primarily because they want to help the Ethiopian people. In contrary, it is to extend their reign and thereby reinforce the suppression and crackdown on oppositions and descents. TPLF like all other dictators knows very well that a tiny bit of window of democarcy will bring the beginning of their end.
So, I don’t expect woyane will be interested to democratize Ethiopia any time, nor the foreigner business owners care about this. We have to demand it and get it.
