ለቁም ነገር ጽሁፎች ቁብ የማንሰጥ የወሬ ቃራሚዎች ከሆንን ሰነባብተናል::እንካካድ እባካቹ ራሳችንን እንፈትሽ:: በኢትዮጵያ ውስጥ ለውጥ እንዲመጣ እንታገላለን ስንል የሃሳብ ልእልናን ማመን እና መቀበል ያስፈልጋል:: የምንታገለው ዜጎች ከአፈና ተላቀው ሃሳባቸውን የፈለጉትን በነጻነት እንዲገልጹ ነው::ዜጎች ባመቻቸው መንገድ ሃሳባቸውን ሲገልጹ ሃሳብ ይዳብራል አዲስ ነገር ይፈጠራል::በእስር ቤት ያሉ ዜጎች ጋዜጠኞች የፖለቲካ ሰዎች ሌሎችም የታሰሩት ሃሳባቸውን በነጻነት ስለገለጹ ነው::ይህ ደግሞ የአምባገነኖች ባህሪ ስለሆነ ይህ እንዲወገድ ሁላችንም እየሰራን ነው::ሰዎች ተነስተው በተናገሩ በጻፉ ቁጥር እየተነሳን የምንደነፋ የነገር ቃታ የምንስብ ከሆነ በምንታገልለት ድርጅት ላይ ይሁን በለውጥ ሃይል ላይ ጥያቄ እንዲነሳ እንጋብዛለን ይህ ብቻ አይደለም የሰዎችን መብት ስንጋፋ የኛ ማንነት ጥያቄ ውስጥ ከመግባቱም በላይ በዲያስፖራው ለውጥ ሃይሉ ላይ ታማኝነት እንዳይኖር ከማድረጉም በላይ የነገ ተስፋ የሆነውን የአምባገነኖችን የማስወገድ የትግል ሂደት ላይ ጥቁር ነጥብ ከመጣል በላይ እንዳይሳካም ደንቃራ እንደምንሆን መዘንጋት የለብንም::ልብ ያለው ብቻ ልብ ሊል ይችላል::ሃሳብን የሚከለክሉ እነማን ናቸው? ነገ ስልጣን ቢይዙ ምን ሊያደርጉን ነው? ወዘተ የሚሉ የጥንቃቄ ጥያቄዎች ከሕዝብ ጉያ እንደሚፈልቁ እንርሳ!!!

The Prof states “ኢትዮጵያን እንኳ የምንፈልጋት አባቶቻችን ያወረሱን እናት ሀገራⶭን ስለሆነችና ስላደግንባት እንጂ፣ ማንነታችንን እንድንገልጽባት አይደለም።” Is this not a hypocrisy? Without the land and country ‘Ethiopia’, the sense of ‘Ethiopiawinet’ could not have developed! Without the land Ethiopia, you are a nobody.
Why should the Welqaytes demand that they should belong to the Amhara kilil, since according to the logic of the professor, they could just migrate to Gondar or Debre Tabor. Why all the protest against the boundary demarcation with Sudan, since land is immaterial. Those farmers around the border could migrate like the professor and start farming in Texas!
What I wanted to point out is, contrary to the half-baked commentary of the Prof., for the farmer, whether Oromo, Amhara or Texan, land is every thing. Land is central to their livelihood.
The Prof. speaks about clans of Israel, but keeps quiet on the fact that the Israelites came back to Palestine after 2000 years of absence to reclaim their ancestral land. Could the prof explain why? He even compares humans to locusts and migratory birds! He forgets that these are in fact exceptions. Most animals live in a fixed territory and even defend it.
Put simply, the professor entangles himself in contradictions just to, as usual, discredit Oromo legitimate demands.
