No hurry to come to conclusion as to Ginbot 7’s Liberating Ethiopia.
First of all, liberation is not going to be left to certain party or group. Is should start from inside, if we need to liberate from any form of oppression, we have to contribute of our own by the means of possible. Otherwise, if we are waiting till some group or any party to liberate us, it’s naïve and would eventually be unproductive.
It is true that Ginbot 7 come to the decision to fight in all means, i.e., armed or unarmed. It is the result of the regime in power forced to come to this level. There’s no choice that if anyone has left no option to try, it is going to use any means. I understand it.
But from my experience, whenever the derg regime was in power and the TPLF/EPRDF forces are advancing towards Addis, I thought no matter what it’s if this regime is changed (derg), I didn’t think that they are going to betray us like this at all.
At least, when I saw the devotion of the fighters to sacrifice themselves ahead of their comrade & telling that they have to make the struggle complete; I totally became confused now that, those fighters who has sacrificed their precious lives are betrayed. At the same time, those who have hoped to see the bright future of Ethiopia is to fall in the hands of a mercenary group that we didn’t know them before.
So, my concern here’s that I understand why Ginbot 7 is going to the arm struggle, but I don’t trust anyone try to bring peaceful transition through arms because as the late premier said & his friends telling us many times, the sacrifice they have made to come to that level wouldn’t make them to transfer the power to the choice of the people.
In my opinion, a change through arm struggle wouldn’t bring any peaceful change rather it would cost us a lot and destabilize our nation. For this reason, I’m supporting a peaceful transition of power not by arms.
Therefore, Ginbot 7 in my opinion has made its own choice whether they would keep their promise or not that is another question because we have seen many promises has been betrayed and they could be one of them.
To say a little of their choice to fight the regime through Shabia, they have to be careful, because SHABIA is not working for free. They will ask you to accomplish what they need if you get succeed. Othewise, as some of the people and SHABIA itself is talking many times, he is more concerned to Ethiopian and its people, so that he could help us to achieve our goal like what it did to TPLF, that is a big mistake. SHABIA from its inception, stands for the destruction of Ethiopia by any means. Last time uses TPLF as Trojan horsed and now they’re going to use Ginbot 7 or any Arbegnoch Ginbar, in order to accomplish its employers interest.
As long as G7 agreed in all terms, yes it will give you the support, but remember the support is not directly from SHABIA because Eritrea is not printing money. He is working as a means of transferring all the resources from its employers to the destruction of Ethiopia.
TPLF also has agreed to all terms of what SHABIA has provided, first, they agreed that Eritrea is a colony of Ethiopia; the surrender our brothers and sisters of Eritreans without consulting their remaining fellow Ethiopians; they form a theatre that so called referendum which gave only two choices, “Freedom or Slavery”. At the same time, many Eritreans has been pushed by TPLF to go to the poll stations by force to “vote”. Finally, they told us Eritrea is independent nation. SHABIA knows still how to exploit Ethiopia to make Eritrea like Singapore and Israel etc., and continuing its master & slave drama which has been doing for many years. At this time, I don’t know why TPLF has forget to fulfill all what promised started disobeying the master. That results as we know the Badme border conflict.
You know all the story I don’t need to explain you all but it’s good sometimes to refresh our memory how we come through the TPLF & that’s why I don’t trust anyone at this time; I am sorry to say it but that is the hard truth any change through SHABIA would not produce good to Ethiopia.
I believe many of my fellow Ethiopians would share my feeling including my brothers and sisters of Eritrea when I say Ethiopians try to understand me that way please.
Finally, I respect what G7 has made but they have made a wrong choice that would make them chew a gravel. The choice you made to change the regime through armed means, if you have that capacity to do it, we will see but do not play a gamble, you should know that you are playing with the precious life of humankind.

To TPLF led EPRDF,
I would like to advise you as an individual who loves its country and its beloved people. It’s unfortunate that after all the sacrifices has been made to bring stability and justice to the people of Ethiopia, you have turned upside down all the principles of humanity. We Ethiopians have been living together with good and bad situations but no one like you have done a disastrous decision as to the well being of the people and its sovereignty.
It’s clearly visible at this time and even before that you are mercenaries working for some group to destroy Ethiopia and its people. I don’t know what kind of mind you have but at least you have shared all Ethiopian values and I didn’t expect to the extent that you are hating the people like this. Your hatred is limitless & you keep doing it now and then. Okay, at the beginning you may not familiar with the system and the people has given you a chance and time to adjust yourself but that was not the case at all.
Having the whole resource for the last 24 years and so, still you are working against the people. What’s wrong with you guys? Why you are always asking yourself whether you’re doing good or not? Please for God sake! I believe by now, you have build marriages and have kids. As you look a bright future for yourself and your family, please look towards the life of the other Ethiopians too. Greed makes blind & finally will take you to the cliff.
Stop and think! If you think you are going to stay doing like this forever, impossible, trust me. Ethiopians are very tolerant people in the world but when the limit is over, nothing in the earth will stop them to make things upside down.
It is a time to give and take; sharing and loving to one another. Many of you have already going to retirement & to lead a peaceful a retired life requires a commitment to look back what has been done and fix things that should be fixed. Otherwise, it’s not good for you and the nation at large. If you think, the people and the nation will have a problem after you leave, don’t worry. The nation has come through up and downs for thousands of years, so, leave the burden to the next one.
