የኮንሶና የቡርጂ ብሔረሰቦች ለብዙ ዘመናት በወዳጅነትና በፍቅር አብረው የኖሩ ወንድማማች ሕዝቦች ናቸው፡፡ ሁለቱም ብሔረሰቦች የጥንታዊው የሊበን ሕዝቦች አካል ከመሆናቸውም በላይ ከሊበን ተነስተው የዳዋን ወንዝ ተሻግረው በሰገንና በዳዋ ወንዞች መካከል ለብዙ ጊዜያት አብረው ጎን ለጎን ሰፍረው ኖረዋል፡፡ ኮንሶዎች የሰገንን ወንዝ ተሻግረው በምዕራብ በኩል አሁን በሰፈሩበት ወረዳ መኖር ከጀመሩ በኋላም ቡርጂዎች ከወንዙ በስተምሥራቅ ባለው ቡርጂ ወረዳ እንደዚሁም ወንዙንም ተሻግረው ከኮንሶ ወረዳ በስተሰሜን በኩል ባለው የቀድሞው የጎመይዴ ወረዳ ውስጥ ከኮንሶዎች ጋር አብረው ሰፍረው ጎን ለጎን አብረው ሲኖሩ ቆይተዋል፡፡ ሁለቱም ሕዝቦች ሳይለያዩ አብረው መኖር ብቻ ሳይሆን በረጅም ጊዜ የአብሮነት ታሪካቸው ተጠልተውና ተጋጭተውም አያውቁም፡፡
ይልቁንም ሌላ ኃይል አንዳቸውን ቢያጠቃ በጋራ ሆነውና ተባብረው የመከላከል ታሪክና ባሕል ነው ያላቸው፡፡ ለዚህ ነባርና ጥንታዊ ትብብራቸውም በኮንሶ ወረዳ የሚገኘው የክምብሮ ተራራና በቡርጂ ወረዳ የሚገኘው የሺሊያ ተራራ ቋሚና ታሪካዊ ምስክሮች ናቸው፡፡ ምክንያቱም በኮንሶዎች ላይ የውጭ ኃይል ጥቃት ቢሰነዝር የወንድሞቻቸውን የቡርጂዎችን እርዳታ ለመጠየቅ ኮንሶዎች በክንብሮ ተራራ አናት ላይ ወጥተው እሳት በማንደድ የጭስ ምልክት በማሳየት የጥሪ መልዕክት ለቡርጂዎች ያስተላልፉ ነበር፡፡ ቡርጂዎችም ጨርቄን ማቄን ሳይሉ በፍጥነት ገስግሰው በመድረስ ከኮንሶዎች ጎን ይሰለፉ ነበር፡፡ በቡርጂዎች ላይ በውጭ ኃይል ጥቃት ከተሰነዘረም ቡርጂዎች በሺሊያ ተራራ ጫፍ ላይ ወጥተው በተመሳሳይ ሁኔታ እሳት በማንደድ ለኮንሶ ወንድሞቻቸው የድረሱልን መልዕክት ያስተላልፉ ነበር፡፡ ኮንሶዎችም ምንም ጊዜ ሳይወስድባቸው በፍጥነት ገስግስው ከቡርጂዎች ጎን በመሰለፍ አጋርነታቸውን ለቡርጂዎች ያረጋግጡ ነበር፡፡
ለረጅም ዘመናት የቆየው የሁለቱ ሕዝቦች የግንኙነት ታሪክ በጦርነት ጊዜ ብቻ ሳይሆን በሰላም ጊዜም በማሕበራዊ ኑሮአቸው ሁሉ በመረዳዳት ላይ የተመሠረተ ነው፡፡ የግንኙነት ታሪካቸው ከላይ የተገለጸው ሆኖ ሳለ በቅርቡ በተለይ በጋራ በሚኖሩበት የቀድሞው የጎማይዴ ወረዳ በሚገኙ የተወሰኑ ቀበሌዎች በሁለቱ ብሔረሰቦች መካከል ግጭት መፈጠሩንና የወገኖቻችን ሕይወትም ማለፉን ሲሰማ እጅጉን አሳዝኖኛል፡፡ ለክስተቱ ምክንያቱ የኢህአዴግ ካድሬዎች ከፋፍሎ መግዛት ሥራ እንጂ ሌላ ምንም ሊሆን አይችልም፡፡ ምክንያቱም ሁሉንም ተባብረውና ተካፍለው መኖርን ባሕላቸውና ታሪካቸው አድርገውና መጣላትንና ግጭትን ነውር አድርገው በኖሩት በእነዚህ ሕዝቦች መካከል አሁን በኢህአዴግ ዘመን እንደዚህ አይነት አስነዋሪ ሁኔታ መከሰቱ የኢህአዴግን አገዛዝና በሁለቱም በኩል የሚገኙ የኢህአዴግ ካድሬዎችን የታሪክ ተጠያቂ ማድረጉ አይቀርም፡፡
በአሁኑ ወቅት ኮንሶዎች የጠየቁት የዞን አስተዳደር ጉዳይም ቢሆን በሰላማዊና በሕጋዊ አግባብ ሕዝቡን በማሳመን ብቻ መፈታት የሚገባው እንጂ ወዳጃቸው ከሆነው የጎረቤት ብሔረሰብ ጋር ሊያጋጫው በፍጽም የሚገባ ጉዳይ አይደለም፡፡ ጥያቄውም ለመንግሥት አካላት ቀርቦ ከዚያ መልስ የሚጠበቅበት እንጂ አንዳቸው ከሌላቸው የሚጠብቁት ጉዳይ አይደለም፡፡ ስለዚህም አብረው ለዘመናት ከኖሩት ወንድሞቻቸው ጋር ሊያጣላቸው የሚገባ አይደለምና ለግጭቱ በፍጽም ምክንያት ሊሆን የሚችል ጉዳይ አይደለም፡፡ መንግሥትም በአሁኑ ወቅት እየሰጠ ያለው የኃይል ምላሽ ችግሩን ከማባባስ በስተቀር መፍትሔ ሊሆን ሰለማይችል ለጉዳዩ ሕጋዊና ሕገመንግሥታዊ የሆነ ሰላማዊ ምላሽ ብቻ ሊሰጠው ይገባል እላለሁ፡፡
