But let us not forget, the crises in Ethiopia of the last 50 years or so started in Langley, Virginia, USA.
We may have to change the narrative and start with the
Black vs Ferenji global conflict,
and then put the ferenji role in Ethiopia, which is among the most destructive ferenji policies towards non-ferenji countries, in that context.
And then we go to the ferenji plot against Haile Selassie that might have started as early as the late 1950s Gregorian Calendar.
Then we have the so-called Ethiopian students movement, the 1966 E.C. “revolution”, Derg, TPLF/EPLF and the situation today.

In the above video you can see how the USA or the CIA masterminded and facilitated the transfer of power from Derg to Woyane from ca. 1989 to 1991. We can see the standard operating procedure of the USA state department (= CIA) in regime change situations, here using the Ukrainian example.

“ America’ s anti-Ethiopian unity policy had become clear to us beyond any doubt when the US had started to identify itself closely with the EPLF and TPLF and had decided to hand over power in Ethiopia from the Derg to the EPLF-TPLF. It was also then that the CIA had come out openly to block the forces of Ethiopian unity and serve the cause of Ethiopian dismemberment.
This had become clear at the Toronto Conference which was held from Hamle 12 to Hamle 15 (July 1990) with the object of creating a democratic united front of forces committed to Ethiopian unity for the formation of a transitional government to replace the expiring Derg. And as this objective was contrary to the US strategy to replace the Derg by EPLF-TPLF those loyal to the CIA had done everything to sabotage and disrupt the Conference before it achieves its objectives. I was one of the persons responsible in organising the Toronto Conference with the objective of achieving o the unity of pro-unity forces and, as President of EPDA,I was preparing to lead the EPDA delegation to Toronto when I was told to go urgently to Khartoum (Sudan) where I was told my service was needed urgently. Replacing me to lead the EPDA delegation to Toronto was assigned Dereje Deressa, EPDA secretary General. It was only upon arrival in Khartoum tht I understood the CIA mischief to avoid my presence at Toronto. At this point CIA was engaged in bringing together forces that will form the entourage of EPLF-TPLF and follow them applauding to the power pedestal in Addis Ababa so as to give them the appearance of popular support while alienating pro-unity forces and individuals. ” ”
Given those facts one of the policies of a post-woyane government should be to demand confession (that means release of CIA documents), apology and compensation from the USA.
There should be no normal Ethiopia – USA relations before that.
But we must assume that USA and ferenjis are now working to prevent a future Ethiopian government from making such demands.
USA alone is estimated to have today thousands of agents in Ethiopia and among the diaspora, sure we all know many such agents. It pays millions of dollars bribe and salaries to its agents.
The result is Ethiopians are very reluctant to talk about the role of the ferenjis (CIA, USA, UK, West, etc) in Ethiopian politics.
But to be truthful we may need to change the narrative and start talking about a ferenji or western plot against Haile Selassie that led to,

2. the overthrow of Haile Selassie
3. the installation of Derg, whereby Mengistu was a CIA agent, etc

I wonder when the criminalization of politicians against each other will stop. I have long admired Dr. Merera’s position – one man one vote’ to a democratic solution of the current Ethiopia’s crisis. I have read his book and only focused on his strategy to win the election. I have also been watching Ato Girma Seifu’s debate in the Ethiopian Parliament that exhibited an embarrassing presence of a single opposition party member that contributed nothing to the desired democratic process in Ethiopia.
