today\u2019s 5000 meter running event ended dramatically.
\nIn a major show of force, dozens of Addis Ababa police officers in riot gear arrested the Blue Party Women Groups who were shouting that political prisoners must be released. These young women were demanding for the release of journalists and political prisoners. <\/p>\n

The women were shouting \u201cRelease Reeyot Alemu!!\u201d .. \u201cRelease the Journalists!!\u201d\u2026 \u201cRelease all political prisoners!!\u201d<\/p>\n

The police arrested dozens of these women who all are members of the Blue Party. Some of these are members of the Executive Committee of the Blue Party. They have been interrogated and assaulted for they supported the peaceful struggle of the women form the Blue Party in the rally! <\/p>\n

Here are names of the ladies and executives of the party still arrested:-<\/p>\n

Woyinshet Molla
\nWoyni Niguse
\n Nigest Wondifraw
\n Meron Alemayehu
\nEmebet Girma
\nMetasebiya Tekle <\/p>\n

Getaneh Balcha (Head of Organizational affairs)
\nBrhanu Tekleyared (Head of Public Relations)
\nAbel Ephrem (member of Public Relations committee) <\/p>\n

The other two women who were leading the protest namely Eyerus Tesfaw and Elsabeth Wessna are still not found and no one knows where they are taken.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n
