የማንዴላን ፎቶ ሰቅሎ መብላትና መጠጣት ሆድ ከመሙላት የዘለለ ምንም ፋይዳ የለውም። ስንቱን ኢትዮጵያዊ ማንዴላ በየእስር ቤቱ አጉረው እያሰቃዩና እየገረፍ፣ የተረፈውን ለስደትና ሞት እየዳረጉ የማንዴላ ቀን በድግስ ማክበር የቆመለት አላማ ምን እንደ ነበር መዘንጋት ብቻ ሳይሆን የለየለት አስመሳይነት ነው። ማንዴላ መስዋነትነት የከፈለው ህወሃት በኢትዮጵያ ህዝብ ጫንቃ ላይ የጫነውን አይነት አስከፊ የአድልኦ፣ የጭቆናና እና የዘረኛነት ስርአት ከስሩ ለመገርሰስ እንደነበር ጠፍቷቸው ከሆነ ኢትዮጵያዊያኖቹ ማንዴላዎች እስርቤት ሰብረው ሲወጡና ከየበረሃው በድል ሲመለሱ በአግባቡ ያስታውሷቸዋል። ለህወቶች የዘረኝነትና የጥላቻ ድግስን ደግሶ ከርስ ለመሙላት የማንዴላ ሳይሆን የመለስ ዜናዊ ወይም የግራዚያኒ ፎቶ ይበቃል።
የኛ ማንዴላዎች እነ አንዳርጋቸው ጽጌ፣ ፕሮፌሰር ብርሃኑ ነጋ፣ እስክንድር ነጋ፣ ኡስታዝ አቡበከር፣ አንዱ አለም አራጌ፣ ተመስገን ደሳለኝ፣ እየሩስአለም ተስፋው፣ ኦልባና ሌሊሳ፣ አብራሃ ደስታ፣ በቀለ ገርባ፣ ኦኬሎ ኦቻላ፣ እርዮት አለሙ፣ የዞን ዘጠኝ እስረኞች….እና በስም ተዘርዝረው የማያልቁ ለህዝባቸው ነጻነት ሲሉ የግፍ ጽዋ ዘውትር እየተጎነጩ በጨለማ ውስጥ የታሰሩት፣ በየበረሃውና የስደተኛ ካምፕ የሚንከራተቱት ሁሉ ናቸው።አማራጭና መፈናፈኛ በማጣት በረሃ የወረዱት ኢትዮጵያውያን የነጻነት ታጋዮች ሁሉ ምስጋናና ክብር ይገባቸዋል። ለኛ የዘመኑ ማንዴላዎች እንነዚህ ሁሉ የለውጥ ሃዋሪያቶች ናቸው።

I think they forgot why Mr. Mandela declined to accept an invitation extended to him, to visit Ethiopia, by the late Legese Zenawi.
He, Mr. Mandela, didn’t want to visit the country which fall under a tribal government. He knew Ethiopia when it was led by its prominent/visionary African King.
